I agree on Mount to some extent. I also think Mou had it down with Ibra, Matic and Bailly was sadly just never fit but was a real fighter. I don't think it's a matter of being hopeful with guys like Kim and Amrabat since we've seen what kind of player they are. A shame we missed out on Kim, would've loved him here.
I thought Bailly had the capacity to become a beast of a player after seeing him play a couple of times, but sadly not to be.

McT in a part-ex deal for Caicedo would be a lovely upgrade.
Seems such an obvious thing to do. Which means it won’t happen. Suppose with Amrabat looking likely we won’t need him like but I’d prefer Caicedo as a player.

Muani and Hojlund. That tells you something, I think.

We may have moved on from the idea of a pure goalscorer like Osimhen and Kane. We're now looking at hard working, high pressers. Firmino type strikers who are multipliers for the players around them, more so than individuals who'll get on the scoresheet themselves.

What's the reasoning

Good Hold up, link up, has a good awareness of what's around him, Fairly strong and can shoot with either foot from what I've seen of him.

We've brought in loads of players that lacked character on the pitch. Sure nobody is purposely going for a player that lacks it, but he's saying it seems it's the primary requirement now.

Pogba didn't have it, Harry, AWB and Lindelof rarely play brave, Martial lacks it. I'm sure I'm forgetting some. All guys that aren't the warriors like the players we were/are linked with now.
Forgot Di Maria.

Aware of the player. Monitoring the situation. Asked to be informed. End me please.

Discussions have occurred and it is believed the club is relaxed about the situation.

It all reads a bit like the creative writing project of a 10 year old

We have moved away from the idea of a pure goalscorer like Osimhen and Kane because we can't afford them :)

Prime Pogba, one of my favourite players. Lazy Paul, keep him.
14/8/21 - that was prime Pogba.
The rest of the time he was lazy.
I actually think ETH would not have signed him because he is a Hollywood player that does not play for the team, and is not prepared to do the hard work. Every player, whoever he is, is expected to have the right attitude in an ETH team. He puts more emphasis on attitude and mental strength than other managers, as well as technical ability and ability to play his system / follow instructions, and maybe less emphasis on certain physical traits like height, speed and strength. Antony and Eriksen would not get into a Mourinho type team, but both are ETH choices. Remember this is the guy who played Martinez and Timber as a centreback pairing, with a combined height of 11.5 foot, compared to some teams 12.5 foot.
