We need to generally get out of the 300k a week threshold unless a prime world class player is available. Bruno is 29 and probably has a couple more season left with us. What we don’t want is another situation where we have players past their best sat on huge contracts with a reluctance to leave. We need to move away from that. And I LOVE Bruno

If you mean more generally, I think we’ve been on a downward spiral for a long time, not much of that is attributable to Bruno.

He can be frustrating sometimes, for various reasons, but his effort and output on the pitch can’t be questioned. He also conducts himself, off the pitch, in a manner befitting a United captain (in complete contrast to some of his on pitch histrionics!).

I think the court of public opinion is too quick to jump on him, and it’s easy to get sucked in by it (I know I have before), if you take a step back and look at the bigger picture you should see the positives far outweigh the occasional negatives.

As for his salary, if that’s even an issue, that’s none of my business.

If there are issues a sensible approach might be to allow him to go elsewhere if he can find a buyer who’ll improve his salary and pay us what we deem to be fair (both being true would be optimistic to say the least). If not he has a contract that he’s signed and needs to honour.

No it's not yes our standards were dropping before we got hold of Bruno but they have absolutely plummeted with him as the main man , how many battering did we take even though we were poor before he arrived now it's just another day in the office .We can't even get out of group stages in Champions league for God sake .

Look I am not saying he isn't a decent player but that's what he is but we aren't going anywhere with him as our main man sooner we realise that sooner we can move on .

It shouldnt take much common sense from Ineos to see that Bruno will be about to turn 33 when his contract runs out, if we trigger the 1 year extension. He is clearly too old now to be positioning for a big wage hike.

Do they think a 33 year old Bruno will be worth £300k+ a week? Will he have much market value as a 33 year old, would we lose a huge transfer fee even if he left on a free at that age? No to both.

Yeah funny when talking about Ten Hag replaements has his name ever been mentioned? I never even thought of him TBH....but he must be one of the most under rated managers. Got Brentford to premiership being a great achievement, keeping a promoted team there is even better. Not a wealth of experience but made good signings, plays good attacking footballand generally does well against the bigger teams and comes across as very positive in interviews. Actually reminds me of a calmer version of early Klopp at Dortmund.

Possiblywithout a wealthof experience the job and club could prove too big for him, but he also makes more sense than virtually all theothermanagers we have been linked with

I am not that much into Danish football - but I do question if Brøndby have bigger egos than an average P.L club

Well Brøndby and Copenhagen fans are extremely deluded and that rubs off on the players. But yes thats actually my point, if he couldnt even handle the egos of a side like Brøndby how is he going to handle ours.

In fairness - Napoli have paid fairly big a few times before - even if we leave Osimhen out. Milik, Manolas, Lozano etc all cost just below £30 mil - £40 mil - so it's not impossible that we can get £35 mil for Greenwood

Yes it should be a common sense, straightforward decision. Won't augur well if ineos fluff it.

Makes far too much sense for United let’s hope they get this done early.
 
The amount of players getting linked to us has significantly reduced this year which is interesting to say the least.

Or United bring him back, and don't waste near £100m trying to replace him. That would be the sane, and right decision.
