In the year 2000s we werent far off Madrid in terms of pull, thanks to the Glazers, Talents now choose mit table teams over us

Tier 2:

Left back is becoming more important now after both Shaw and Malacia's injury problems.

Official: both Jack and Tyler Fletcher sign their first pro contracts with United

Real are hoping to sign him too.

Surely some of these younger players have to consider who’s ahead of them. A young midfielder has to oust Kroos, Modric, Valverde, Brahim, Camavinga, Bellingham & Tchouameni.

Obviously the first two days are numbered but still that’s before Madrid inevitably go out and buy someone else as well.

Feels like this is like 8M lost as we could have gotten that sort of fee (I made it half an Elanga) for a decent left-footed attacker from a bottom-half Prem club.
We got less than £1m for Chong ?

Because United were linked to Zirkzee in the past:

Source (Tier 1):

More info:
  • Juventus is trying to persuade Bayern Munich to buy back Zirkzee from Bologna via their buyback clause (€40m)
    • Juventus will then negotiate with Bayern Munich for the player.
  • AC Milan are also interested in Zirkzee.
  • Thiago Motta might bring both Calafiori and Zirkzee over to Juventus should he become their next head coach.

The same article.
Nick Cox is academy Manager/Director he was promoted in 2020 and he’s contracted to 2026 plus he's doing a dam fine job, watch as our under 18’s walk the PL north, thrash Liverpool 1-9 today and he oversaw the Youth cup wining team of 2022 that includes Mainoo, Ganaucho, Gore and more. This group is so talented we should as United fans be getting giddy, so no way they fire Nick Cox, I can See Darren Fletcher being more involved in the U23 set up and bridge between U18 and U23, the U23 have not been competitive for years so this needs. Jason Wilcox will be over both of them and report to Dan Ashworth and Omar Berada.

Yeah will be interesting to see what they do with him considering Fletcher's been impactful with his influence on the youngsters including Amad where his influence was specifically mentioned recently.
