They're not at all similar. Mount is a very good presser whereas Eriksen doesn't press at all and Eriksen's a far better progressive passer and creator than Mount.
On the other hand, Eriksen's better at reading the game; he cuts off the passing angles and plugs the gaps better than Mount does. It's unfortunate that he can't cover the distances quickly enough else he'd have been a great B2B midfielder.

Surprised there isn’t more links to Maddison.
He is a very good attacking midfielder, far to good to waste prime years in the Championship. 1year left on his contract.

[When asked about Kane]
What we need besides Marcus Rashford is one extra player with scoring abilities whether it’s coming out of our own squad or we have to sign one.

[On the fans' "Glazers out" chants]
When you see the investment in the Premier League — [in the] summer window we did [spend] as well, to be fair. In the winter window, we didn’t do anything. We had loan players [Wout Weghorst, Marcel Sabitzer and Jack Butland] but when you look around, all the other clubs invested to be in the top four and we didn’t invest. You can’t ignore that. If you want to be competitive in this league, you have to invest. I need signings, yes.

[On whether Maguire will remain at United]
Let’s say I’m happy he’s here and when we needed him he did his job. But it’s also a decision he has to make.

[On de Gea's future]
Yes, but I will not say he’ll always be my No 1 because in a club like Man United there must be competition in all positions. You can’t do it with 11 players. It is impossible. You need double positions.

I feel like when he was saying this he started out thinking it was a great point but then he realized we finished third and his point kind of got lost in that.

But to be fair I think he was trying to point out that our lack of spending in January is why we were so far off of the title race.

One from our own squad?

Well the only goalscorer that’s going to magically appear from our own squad is Mason Greenwood

Ten Hag was asked about Greenwood by Winter, and he responded by highlighting his goalscoring qualities but then mentioning that the player's future is not on him but on the club instead, which should tell you what you need to know.

Personally, I would think he'd be a better purchase than Mount. Although he does play the Bruno position.

I think Mount is a better signing than Maddison. More disciplined and better suited to play in our system. Less creative perhaps but all round better.

“We need a striker if Mason isn’t reintegrated”

In what world are you guys living in?

£15M for a regular Brazilian international?! This isn’t early 2000’s anymore.

So you’re rating a regular player for United with a fringe/reserve player and expecting a similar fee?

£15M would he stupid business
We're selling to Fulham, although all PL clubs have cash they're not made of money.

He's a 30 year old midfielder who isn't good enough for a top club, is out of favour at his current club, with 1 year left on his contract.

I think we're so used to getting rinsed on fees we just assume other clubs we're selling to will happily overpay like we do. It's rarely the case.

As I recently said, it appears the Glazers are not interested in making a call on MG. They don't want to reintegrate and risk losing sponsorship deals, which will devalue the club, and they don't want to write off a £100m asset. Either action would be pretty risky just prior to an expected sale of the club, so they will hand over the responsibility to the new owner. Alternatively, if the new owner is clever, as a condition of sale they will have the Glazers implement their preferred option for MG as their last act, so the new owners don't have to suffer from the backlash.

Even if Greenwood is being brought back he’s missed over a year of football. Who knows how that’s affected his development.

Players miss that time with big injuries, shouldn't be a problem if he's kept himself fit

With Benzema considering his future this summer, Real Madrid will also enter the striker market alongside Man. Utd. and Bayern Munich (Tier 1):

The names Real Madrid are considering for the '9'.

Young and a bet on the future or proven and with an immediate contribution, the debate is open. The names are multiplying: Harry Kane, Firmino, Julián Álvarez, Thuram, Joselu, Gonçalo Ramos, Hojlund, Harvertz, Kolo Muani, Osimhen, Adeyemi...

The most talked-about player so far is Harry Kane. The problem, insurmountable for many, is the presence on the horizon of Daniel Levy, president of the London club, who does not want to meet with Real Madrid in the negotiation.

More info: Real Madrid are also looking at a couple of their own academy products in Álvaro Rodríguez and Juanmi Latasa (currently on loan at Getafe).

We should be all over Benzema if he’s looking to move…..commit fully to being Reals cast-off club, they’re all still really good

Nobody wanting to deal with that muppet Levy is now becoming more of a detriment to Spurs than it ever was.

Im amazed no one has linked Benzema with us yet.

Benzema won't be linked with United because he's really tempted to go to Saudi Arabia instead. They've already given him a huge contract offer, and the role being offered to him also involves extra philanthropic work that he's keen on. They'll basically put him up a pedestal, and it's something that really tempts him.

Fair enough. We were worried about Rafa and Case being here for the money but they’ve proved that’s not the case….if Benz heart isn’t in it then it’s not an option

no, not really? A decision should have been made months ago when the charges were dropped, why is everyone still faffing around? An internal investigation on top of a police investigation and then stakeholders have to have a say? ..Christ… let’s be honest. he’ll get stick for a few months and then everyone will just forget about it and move on to the next headline.. do you want to keep him or not? If we don’t somebody else will.
also, why isn’t the manager involved in that decision? …this club will actively seek out the most painful drawn out process for absolutely everything, even when it comes down to selling it. It’s excruciating

They need to both get on phone to him

Tier 3:

Neymar-Manchester United, an interest mentioned more than a month ago on FM. United are still interested and have a number of trump cards up their sleeve if the club is sold to Qatar. Saudi Arabia tried their luck, but the Brazilian turned them down for the time being.

Translation + more info:

Neymar's transfer is linked to the Qatari takeover.

This will probably get deleted but I agree.
