Merely improving on our current situation won’t lead us anywhere. Mid table standard strikers would improve us but nowhere near enough. As crazy as it sounds, it still an improvement on our current CF situation.
yes, but what are our options?Merely improving on our current situation won’t lead us anywhere. Mid table standard strikers would improve us but nowhere near enough.

As things stand, Kane is not happening. Osimhen would cost too much and we can't afford him. Kolo Muani is overpriced and Hojlund is too young. And to top it off, Bayern, Real and Chelsea are also looking for top striker themselves.
So realistically a fit CF who can score 15 goals and a couple of assists is going to be a huge improvement on our current Martial/Weghorst situation.
With that being said, all things point to Voldemort being brought into the set up.

Tier 1 - Ohhh Boy! Imagine that Defence!
Varane, Martinez and Pavard would be incredible

We need someone as a striker who can score at the very least 30 goals in all competitionsSo realistically a fit CF who can score 15 goals and a couple of assists is going to be a huge improvement on our current Martial/Weghorst situation.
100m for a 30yr old striker with 1yr left on his contract would be fecking nuts. Something similar to what we paid for RVP would be acceptable for me

Based on the 9 goals in 32 games he scored this season at Serie A level?Hojilund can get 15 goals I believe at the very least imo.

He's going to stripped of the captaincy, he probably wants out and we need to move him on. We don't need to keep paying wages for someone who isn't good enoughAre we really that desperate to move him on?
I get selling him, best for both parties but surely there will be takers. We’re already likely to lose millions on his value, we’re gonna chuck another 10m down the drain too?!He's going to stripped of the captaincy, he probably wants out and we need to move him on. Didn’t you post this last summer about Frenkie?Regardless of what people think of this potential transfer, good to see business being done early
If he's as desperate to move on as we are to get rid of him, there's no reason for us to pay him to leave. He's going to stripped of the captaincy, he probably wants out and we need to move him on. We don't need to keep paying wages for someone who isn't good enough
Wheeler is a decent sourceIsn't the mail blacklisted? Why are we posting their bullshit on here?
He's got 3 years left on his deal. He'll cost the club 30 million in wages alone. Take the hit and save 20 is best outcome. If he's as desperate to move on as we are to get rid of him, there's no reason for us to pay him to leave.
Personal terms won't be the issue, it will be Chelsea's valuation I fear.Regardless of what people think of this potential transfer, good to see business being done early
Potentially.Didn’t you post this last summer about Frenkie?
Potentially.
But then again, usually once personal terms are agreed it’s usually a go-er with the club.
Last year it was the other way round
