The bad "V"
What is this loan shit? This bush league psyche out shit?
They might fool the fecks down at the Financial Fair Play office but not me. Laughable man - ha ha!
It says basically nothing about his character. We aren't challenging for the title for years even if things go well so that part is completely irrelevant. It's a reasonable concern that if he struggles to settle even for a couple of months (as some of the best players in Premier League history have, never mind a young defender joining a dysfunctional team trying to put things back together) then that puts his place in the national team at risk, especially now his own national team manager has highlighted that as a potential issue. If we're good next season then he can come then, he's just turned 21, and if we're a Europa/Conference League team again then he can join a better side. What Timber is doing says a lot about his character. If he doesn't feel confident enough that he will play regularly for us - it's quite obvious he doesn't have the mentality to play here. If you are gonna challenge for the title, and play at Old Trafford - you have to be convinced you are the best, and that you will of course play regularly. That's the mentality you need.
500 at least !…………kLet the bidding war commence!
While United are in negotiation for De Jong, Barça has already started talks for Bernardo Silva. De Jong also likes City, but a swap between the two is not being discussed, the operations would be managed separately

I believe it could mean that Barca buying Silva and selling FdJ could happen independently of each other and not just a potential swap deal.“Managed separately“ meaning documented separately I suppose for accounting purposes.
Is ETH that big a factor for FdJ to choose United over Pep and City? I guess not. Let’s see.

It’s saying Bernardo deal is separate because They’re not talking about De Jong imo.“Managed separately“ meaning documented separately I suppose for accounting purposes.

Might seem petty but I struggle to believe someone who can’t spell Qatar.
Even then, it's Katar in GermanI'm presuming he's German.

A bit harsh that, taking things at a slower pace and being patient instead of jumping at the first opportunity presented makes him look mature and might just prove to be a wise decision. United isn't really a top destination at the moment especially for a young player, there's simply too much uncertainty about us.What Timber is doing says a lot about his character. What a load of rubbish. Plenty of players have made career choices based on first team football and plenty of them turned out to be top players. Bellingham turned us down for Dortmund because they could offer him regular football. Do you seriously he’s not going to turn into a top player because of “mentality”?What Timber is doing says a lot about his character. The structure of their midfield his different. They olay with two AMs and a oure DM. They would have to change the structure to accommodate FDJ.Makes sense for City to let Gundogan go and get FDJ, thus preventing us getting our catalyst while slightly strengthening their team.

Considering AWB is more or less frozen out and Dalot is our first choice - it should be our second priority after a central midfielder
Not really. Bellingham didn’t back himself to oust Fred and Mctominay. Timber is up against two defenders who cost a combined 135 million.Jude Bellingham was 17 years old and had played in the Championship. Timber turns 21 in a few weeks - has played 70 matches for Ajax and is a regular for Holland. Surely you see the difference ?
Timber turns down money to secure that he can represent his country at the World Cup. No idea how you can question his character.Jude Bellingham was 17 years old and had played in the Championship.
