€90m not enough? We’re being absolutely ripped off here. Walk away now.

We'll do the deal at 100m. I think United will pay it in the end so they may as well just get it done already. If this is true then the Ajax forums are going mad. They all wanted to take the money.
Agreed, I mean he's not Neymar / Mbappe.€90m not enough? We’re being absolutely ripped off here. Walk away now.
He doesn’t want to play for us mate. This lad does.If you want to spend big why not go to Barca and cover his deferred wages
It’s extremely obvious Frenkie is an idiot and would rather stay there and be treated like a complete ****.If you want to spend big why not go to Barca and cover his deferred wages
Very normal thing for a United supporter to say.United deserve it tbh for waiting till the end with this
Have you seen him play?35M for Gakpo incoming soon, and i wouldn't mind at all
Gakpo would be like signing Amad all over again. Money down the drain.35M for Gakpo incoming soon, and i wouldn't mind at all

They quoted obscene amounts at the start of the window as wellWell it is the truth in the end . There is no chance Ajax refuse this money at the start of the window
That's nonsense to be honest. 90m is an absolutely stupid amount of money to a club like Ajax. If they aren't going to accept it now they would never accept it. Frankly we should move on to other targets.Well it is the truth in the end . There is no chance Ajax refuse this money at the start of the window

If they’re out of the CL and cruising the league then maaaaaybe, but he might also have a great World Cup.Let him kick up a fuss, stink the place up, then get back for him in January. They’ll bite our hand for 60 million then.

It’s not nonsense at all. Ajax have always been ok with selling players for the right price but they have already lost major players this summer and so they are well with their rights to hold on to a 22yr old potential star. There’s 6 days left in the window and they have to think of their own season too

under normal circumstances it would make sense. Here, sadly, less money spent just means more money sucked by Glazers. So “walk away” really works if we get someone else for these monies (maybe bid big money for Hakimi or Maignan)Its time to call their bluff and utter the Caf moto of the window - "Walk away"
Incredible business by Leicester if rumours of a £75M + £15M deal are true. The new Harry Maguire.

Deleted. Wrong thread.Wrong forum? Nothing to do with United
The precedent this window has already been set by the Tchoumaeni and Darwin Nunez transfers though. Not gonna be popular around here but paying €90M for Anthony will be setting the ring precedence by us. Do t matter what the muppet say, they also wanted us to sign Sancho for €120M and would have moaned themselves to death if we had bulked at £80M for Maguire.
Doesn't matter how desperate we are, overpaying for this will just mean that in a couple of years time when we want a decent midfielder from the dutch league, their club will reference our stupid fee for Anthony to justify another obscene fee. Move on is the verdict.
And most recently, the Wesley Fofana transfer; unfortunately for the big clubs, big money is now the bare minimum for the hottest young talents that are already playing first-team football at a high level. The precedent this window has already been set by the Tchoumaeni and Darwin Nunez transfers though.
