Seems like:
Trapp
Gakpo
Antony
De Jong
RB
Rumblings of Pulisic on loan too still going on
Would prefer Pulisic over Gakpo. Unsure we'll get a RB.

Ducker corroborates La Provence's report on Bailly's purchase option fee:
what a fecking stupid deal.
Why? We dispose of a player we don’t need, but who is on high salary and highly injury prone. It’s an Ok dealwhat a fecking stupid deal.
Totally agree with you. Obviously no one that was willing to buy him this summer. Keeping him around would mean wasting £4m over the year for a player that will be our 5th choice at CB, if fit (and that's a big if)..Why? Would you rather he stayed and we continue to pay his salary until his contract runs out and he leaves on a freewhat a fecking stupid deal.

Apparently he is not - for as long as there are no buyers, you can’t sell an asset. So his price should be 7m if it’s maximum we can realistically get from anyone. Also, surely he's worth far more than that.
Inflated wages are probably an issue keeping the fee low. Still, pretty shocking. He seems to be injured quite a lot, so he might struggle to play a minimum number of games.
Also, surely he's worth far more than that.
Add Eriksen, Malacia, Martinez and Casemiro, we're not far off the 10 that Rangnick outlined and he got slated for saying it.Seems like:

If this continues - we could have 2 decent sides:
Trapp - Shaw, Maguire, Lindelof, AWB - McTominay, Fred - Elanga, Martial, Gakpo - Ronaldo
DDG - Malacia, Varane, Martinez, Dalot - Casemiro, Bruno, Eriksen - Antony, Sancho - Rashford
Would rather swap out Rashford for Martial as the 9 and Bruno with Fred for a better Midfield balance unless we got FDJIf this continues - we could have 2 decent sides:

turn your screen sideways and read again.. visible?Van de Beek doesn't get a game in either side!
For me the jury is still out on Bruno, is passing is too erratic and he nearly gifted Pool a goal but for Martinez.Would think Bruno over Eriksen in case FDJ joins
That's why he's not in either side?Van de Beek doesn't get a game in either side!
Martial clearly first choice under Ten Hag.If this continues - we could have 2 decent sides:
Trapp - Shaw, Maguire, Lindelof, AWB - McTominay, Fred - Elanga, Martial, Gakpo - Ronaldo
DDG - Malacia, Varane, Martinez, Dalot - Casemiro, Bruno, Eriksen - Antony, Sancho - Rashford
But with Bruno there is more energy and pressure, whereas passing will come from FDJ. Bruno is also a better goal threat (although Eriksen brings better set pieces - also very important).Casemiro - FDJ - Eriksen is way more balanced
The bit you left out is why I don't have Bruno in there. But with Bruno there is more energy and pressure, whereas passing will come from FDJ. Bruno is also a better goal threat (although Eriksen brings better set pieces - also very important).
Also Eriksen is more versatile so could be a rotation option when FDJ needs a rest (and Bruno can’t)
Tier 3:
Hold on, €200K per week?
That is which they are doing right now, playing him less than 30 mins each match. However, IIRC, Atletico is paying for Griezmann's salary so if they continue doing so they will end up paying for more than he can contribute for the rest of the season. If you think that's dumb, listen to this:
"Griezmann, 31, is officially still on loan from Barcelona, with that complex arrangement including a compulsory purchase by Atletico for €40million in summer 2023, providing he plays a certain amount of games this season (reportedly 50 per cent for a minimum of 45 minutes)."
So if they end up not wanting to pay €40m the incentive is to play him less than 45 minutes from whenever they decide they don't want to pay €40m.
He seems to be injured quite a lot, so he might struggle to play a minimum number of games.
Also, surely he's worth far more than that.
Highest tier outside of the club itself and BBC, yeahWhat tier is laurie whitewell? He’s good isn’t he?
If we can't sign De Jong, hopw we get a cheaper midfielder like Tielemans.
