The lack of planning and strategy is just absolutely staggering, we are two weeks away from the window and we stink of desperation and panic. Ultimately you reap what you sow, only United can revamp its structure, bring in a "DoF" and still perform worse than when Woodward was here.

I mean did you guys see the reports, they were looking to him for advice? I legitimately have never felt so low about this club. The playing team sucks, the owners sucks, the structure sucks, even ETH looks naive etc.

Sell being the keyword. Loans are different and very convenient for the receiving club. There’s always multiple takers abroad too that make more sense.

Hope it's true but seems very optimistic, I highly doubt we we will spend 50m + on two midfielders.

A loan solution for one of our many immediate gaps actually makes a lot of sense. And he's versatile, which is a big plus. And he's not a bad player. He's got possession skills, and is simultaneously fairly direct and aggressive. He might not quite cut it at Chelsea, but you have to consider the sheer amount of qualities that Tuchel's system and formation requires from the two poor sods who plays behind their striker/false 9 and are supposed to be second strikers, no 10s, wingers and channel threats all at once. In ETHs system, he'd be more of a winger, which he's pretty good at. I think I like this.

I'd bet good money on none of those happening. Fair play for being optimistic but I don't even think paying a United tax on transfer fees and wages can realise any of those. Mainly because the players are either at better clubs, or they know that another good season where they are could open up their options so that they don't have to come to United for 2 years (minimum) of no champions league football.

Chelsea continues to push hard to get to the striker. And Manchester United have also joined the bid for Auba. The footballer is silent for the moment. Xavi would like him to stay in the squad
 
Part of me wants to think that Glazers have finally listened to EtH and are getting him MORE signings and the purse strings are starting to loosen a bit.

I'm just praying that we get some elite midfielders in, the Casemiro one is quietly looking promising.

Maybe us being rock bottom has forced their hand to spend more fecking money than just £150M - We need £250M arguably to make a dent!

Spending £250M in a scattergun approach will only hurt us in the next 2 to 3 windows. It’s basically shifting money from future expenditures to the current window. It would be nice if we were able to move some of our surplus players to raise some funds.
 
I have a feeling we are going to see lots of coming and goings in the next week at united . And like 99% of these tweets that's based on nothing but a gut feeling .
 
Sommer has always been solid when I've watched Switzerland.

Should replace DDG immediately.
 
If we get Casemiro instead of Rabbit, this will be the best summer ever.
