Only half way through the window, though. Bizarre, that, but the early start to the season because of the WC makes it all kinda weird. The window should close when competitions start, it's so weird that they don't.

We’re in the midst of yet another nightmare transfer window.
Bit dramatic. By most people's opinion, Ole and Ralf were shit coaches. We've now got a good coach, got rid of the supposed bad eggs and got some good new players in (defender - as our defence was shit, creator - because we created feck all and a LB as Shaw isn't reliable and telles is shit).

We were never winning the league with this window, but I think we're obviously improving and we're playing better football.

Yeah least that way this saga would have been sorted quickly

The 2019 summer transfer window did exactly that but was problematic for all of the PL clubs as the rest of the leagues still had their windows open until September. I'm glad that the PL no longer does this. Either every other European league joins in or no one does.

Yeah, I meant every league should do it, for sure.

Ah yes - Chelsea again... is there anyone they can't be linked with? I'm expecting news soon of them being in for Lukaku despite already owning his contract and him being on loan at their own agreement

Uhm.. so am I understanding this right? No loan fee and all they have to pay is €2m of his salary?

Correct.

As for Alex Telles, whose arrival in Sevilla is imminent, Sevilla have no option to buy, but the loan will be beneficial because Manchester United will not charge any amount for the loan. With the player the personal terms are closed.

According to google £4.84m, so approximately €5.8m. In any case it's obviously a lot more than €2m.
And you still get posters saying "we should be getting €30m for Telles and Bailly". We've absolutely no chances, both are absolute flops whilst playing (when Baillys fit) for an underachieving United team, whilst getting paid huge amounts for the privilege.

People need to wake up and be more realistic around here.

Why do you care about the loan fee and wages saved? They in charge obviously don’t mind and he won’t be playing this season so let him go. If he does well and he will in La Liga they will sign him permanently. He fits Sevilla to a T. Stop moaning about every little thing. This place is insufferable.

Some on here won't ever miss an opportunity to get angry at the club, no chance will be wasted. If people can get annoyed they will. I'm not some ridiculous club defender, far from it, but the energy some put into being negative about everything is exhausting.

Yes. And it’s been reported they’re paying 2m euros. Hence my “maybe he’s agreed to reduce his salary to go to Seville” comment that you said no too.
Clearly there's some conflicting reports, Fab is reporting €2M, Dawson is reporting all.

Maybe we'll see if Orny reports on it/BBC how much is being paid by Seville.

His United salary is obviously a lot more than €2m. So if that's what he's being paid (which would surprise me), and United aren't covering any of his wages, he must've agreed to reduce his salary dramatically.

Window opened June 10th which is almost 8 weeks ago, so nearly two thirds the way through the window. Early season start does make it seem shorter but there has been more than enough time to get players in ready for season.

€2m as part of his salary.
