  • Roma are back in the market for Paulo Dybala and have made a new offer: a four-season contract for €6m per year.
  • Today it is the only formal proposal on the table for the gem, beyond several soundings.
  • There have been no talks with Inter for more than a month.

Betis are negotiating with Lyon for Houssem Aouar. As L'Équipe has advanced, TODAY there has been a meeting in France between the Betis club and the player. William Carvalho would be part of the operation. Nothing closed but the parties are trying to get closer to each other.

Source:

Betis have been interested in recruiting OL attacking midfielder Houssem Aouar for several months now, and are making every effort to lure him away.

English translation:

Despite preferring a move to the Premier League, Aouar is open to joining Real Betis.

United, please

I couldn't find the Bild report online (it seems to be in the SportBILD magazine only for now), but I did find this:

Even though it's at a standstill, Laimer has already given his word to Nagelsmann abouteventually joining Bayern. Another club would have a tougher time convincing Laimer if he's already made up his mind.

"Leipzig want €30m, considered too much by Bayern for a player with one year left"

Oh the IRONY!

Official: Another young Scotsman joins Serie A

The deal also includes further add-ons as well as a significant sell-on percentage.

Signing British players from Scotland and with the hope of selling them to PL clubs for a profit later on, seems to be a popular strategy in Italy right now.

Explain the irony, please.
Really?

Bayern reluctance to pay a decent fee for Mane because he only had one year on his contract followed by the reluctance to pay €30 million for Laimer because he only has a year on his contract MEANWHILE Barcelona must pay minimum €50 million fixed for Lewandowski who... you guessed it only has a year left in his contract!

^Irony personified.

Sure you could argue Lewandowski is worth a little more but certainly not 50 million when Mane wasn't.

Don't get me wrong, I HATE Barcelona so shaft them good but still Ironic you can't see the double standards here.

Inappropriate Behavior

Equating Mané or Lewandowski to Laimer is just plain moronic. Moronic post.

This place really is in tears every time Bayern does a deal. :D Their valuations aren't exactly legally binding, but even transfermarkt only sees Laimer at €28m, €30m for a potential depth/role player with an expiring contract is a reasonable offer. Especially if they actually do already have him tapped up and a free transfer is the alternative.

Finally, some movement!

The progress is based on Torino possibly dropping their total price (i.e. add-ons included) from €40m to €35m.

The Italian clubs are back in contention for Dybala.

  • Napoli want to own 100% of his image rights (worth €1m)
  • Roma: their approach for Dybala depends on Zaniolo's future

More progression!

Milan feel that €35m in total will be enough to seal the deal.

Real Madrid will not offer Marco Asensio a renewal.

The club sees the possibility of him leaving this summer as unlikely

Asensio is not willing to leave Real Madrid

In English:

@Lash @Adnan Official: RB Salzburg sign Lucas Gourna-Douath

Potentially a very good signing for Salzburg who will look to make a tidy profit in the coming years. I think both Lucas Gourna-Douath and Moises Caicedo are two young players to keep an eye on. Caicedo looks to be a player who could develop into a real all-rounder in midfield.

In two years this will look like an absolute steal.
I assume he doesn't want to leave Italy since the whole of Europe should be after this guy?

Torino have increased their offer for Armand Laurienté, amounting to 9 million euros, bonus included. Lorient retains its player, for the moment. President Loïc Féry should make a counter-proposal to the Italians

Correct. He was linked to clubs outside of Italy over the past year, but none of them ever got far.

The Kicker story:

Gnabry contract extension draws closer - Bayern's offensive player is still working out details
  • Bayern initially threatened to put him in the stands if he neither extended his stay or moved on to a new club this summer, but they've since dropped that idea.
  • Likely 4-5 year contract with Bayern Munich
  • The Arsenal-Chelsea rivalry isn't a factor for why Gnabry isn't willing to move to Chelsea.
    • He currently prefers to stay at Bayern Munich.

Bayern wants all the great talents in Bundesliga on free transfers, ruins the whole league.

Wants free players but want to sell Lewandowski for 50M Euros  :wenger:
