I don’t know how they pass FFP. Ok, they’ve got a huge cash injection (for selling their first born until he’s ten) but I thought FFP went on footballing income. If you can just be a football whore and sell yourself, seems against what FFP was for.
And all the clubs that have made capital increase in the pandemic? That money doesn't come from football either.

  • Rennes is very active in acquiring Kim Min-Jae, who Napoli are also interested in.
  • Acerbi has already personal terms with Napoli.
    • Fee: €5m
  • Napoli can bring in Giovanni Simeone on loan with a purchase obligation of €15m from Hellas Verona.

I'm actually inclined to disagree. Before, Barca would just spend this money and saddle the club with a load of debt. At least this means it's somewhat paid for with cash coming into the club.

Also, footballing income is surely covered by selling the coverage of your games?

Maybe there's some accounting nuance to it, but in the end it's still debt - as in financial obligations to another party.

Yeah, of course they don't actually have to use that money to fund said deal, but it's at least some sort of gate. Otherwise you get into the realm of saying clubs can't take on debt.

What a bizarre move.
Not really - he was pretty poor in the premiership, not much better in the championship so Serie B might work out.

I don't know if it is a loan or permanent, I wouldn't be too unhappy to see a permanent move, apart from one game against Spurs, he's been pretty underwhelming.

Chelsea giving Koulibaly £275k per week until he’s 36 years old.

Mad. Unbelievable agent.

My pain is almost over

On a serious note, credit to Chelsea for the speed they have got this deal done.
Spain, the S is silent

No choice since De Ligt wants Bayern and Skriniar looks PSG bound. Still be interesting to see how he does in this league.

Hazard-Madrid: Ancelotti has given the OK for his sale if offers come in
Hazard is on the market.

Despite his improvement in recent months, Madrid will facilitate his departure if any club shows interest.

Ancelotti will try to recover his best version if he stays...but he has given the OK to sell him if offers come in.

Charles De Ketelaere. There are no concrete deadlines, only the desire to close the deal as soon as possible, if possible before Saturday. Milan are waiting for Brugge's definitive approval of the offer of 27 million + variables.
Milan's latest offer for de Ketelaere looks much closer to Leeds' offer now.

EDIT: However, Brugge have apparently yet to receive a satisfactory offer from Milan
De Ketelaere will play against FC Utrecht this afternoon. And thus perhaps also in the Supercup against KAA Gent.

Still no bid from Milan that comes close to meeting expectations.

Isco and Sevilla: a matter of time.

Lopetegui wants him.

He agrees to reduce his salary and Sevilla is the offer he likes by far the most.

What is missing? To give a way out to Oliver Torres and Koundé, among others, but especially in his position.

Can it go wrong? Only an unlikely offer from a big club playing in the Champions League would alter this course, but the player's entourage is already counting on a new life in Sevilla.

Isco (and watch out for Guedes) is the icing on the cake that Monchi is preparing for 22-23.
