Intense afternoon. Barça and Atlético continue to negotiate... now for Carrasco for next season.
Barça and Atlético have opened negotiations for Carrasco for next season.
  • Barcelona club has asked Atletico Madrid for a price.
  • The player finishes his contract in 2024 and already has offers from England.

Tier 2:

  • Ings is valued at £15m.
  • Southampton and Everton are also interested in Ings.

Tier 1:

Nacho, renewal in the air.

There are European clubs that want to sign him: Milan and Wolverhampton have already told him so.

If he does not continue, the academy graduate is more attracted by the option of packing his bags for the United States.

How are they getting away with tapping him up so much?
Real Madrid have been in touch with his camp for a while, too. Whilst Dortmund would be open to an offer, they haven't necessarily started negotiating with either team as of yet.

Tier 1:

Wolverhampton have an offer from Benfica for Gonçalo Guedes. The clubs are talking, he would arrive on loan.

Wolves are still keeping an eye on Atlético's Felipe. He is not a priority for the English club but the matter is not over. Everton are in the race.

Source (Tier 3):

Southampton were very interested in Paul Onuachu's profile and offered €12m for the Nigerian striker this winter. Offer refused. The management of KRC Genk want to keep their striker until the end of the season and fight for the title until the end of the season in the Belgian Jupiler.

Hate it when you get that feeling that everyone else is buying players (some serious cash changing hands) and improving their squads, yet we’re sat on our hands seemingly stuck financially until the summer.

£27m for a player out of contract in 6 months. I wouldn't call that a good deal.
Brighton triggered a 12 month extension earlier this month, so 18 months on his deal.

I'd rather spend 27m on a proven PL player than 90m + 8-yrs on an Ukrainian prospect.

Ah fair enough, but yeah we'll see about that Ukranian prospect that we paid about £30m less than £90m for ;)

So by the time summer comes, their attacking depth will be:

Mudryk, Sterling, Havertz, Pulisic, Hudson-Odoi, Ziyech, Hutchinson, Lukaku, Madueke, Broja, Aubameyang, Chukwuemeka, Fofana. That is 13 players for 4 positions at the maximum.

In midfield they still have Mount, Kante (who they want to extend), Kovacic, Gallagher, Loftus Cheek and another CM they will probably buy.

What is the plan?
