If this is true it seems like a rare Brentford misfire, based on the small sample size of the World Cup at least. He's strong, but he didn't look hard working, skilled or mobile enough to be a good backup for Toney who could be developed into his replacement, which should be their goal with a #9 signing.

Left-footed goalscorer at RW, even if he's just okay and not special like Weah probably is, would be huge for teams like Everton and Fulham and not rumoured but Southampton and Leicester (going for Gonzalez it seems), who get so little production at that spot seemingly every year.

He has 6 goals in total in his two full seasons of senior football. That's not great and not what you'd call a 'goalscorer'.
