This is how we feel for all our players.

Akanji isn't exactly deadwood, the club made a (relatively speaking) fairly good offer to extend his contract. But if he stays after all that would leave Dortmund with a bit of a luxury problem and perhaps a bit short on funds elsewhere.

Carles Pérez enters the market. Mourinho has recognized his work, but the winger needs to play. Roma is sensitive to this situation and Villarreal has shown interest

on May 23 that he offered himself to Barça because he was crazy about music once he was released from PSG. And today we have pointed out that he is waiting for Barcelona in case he does not sign Raphinha, for whom Leeds asks for 55 million.

Welcome to your own Gnabry situation

So the honourable members of the Caf utterly poo pooed the notion of signing Phillips, over-rated english no mark they said, and yet both Klopp and Pep apparently are keen on him.
Both teams have a pivot/ defensive midfielder in place. He's unlikely their replacement/upgrade, but to be utilized as no 8. We need a pivot player, and the rumored fee here is in the same region as the rumored fee for FdJ.

Let's not pretend all of Pep and Klopp's signings all turn out great.

He Tweeted about this 4 days ago at first and has now expanded on that initial Tweet.
  • Newcastle United are asking Empoli for a meeting.
  • Both AC and Inter Milan are interested in Asllani.
    • Inter want him in the team for next season.
    • AC Milan want him on loan back to Empoli (preferred by Empoli themselves)
  • Asllani prefers to continue in Italy.

Hope he stays in Italy so that leaves us a chance to sign him if he continues his development and interested in another move in the future. Looks very suitable for PL. A cross between Ander Herrerra and and Stevie Me

  • Simeone wants to keep Carrasco at Atletico Madrid for next season.
  • Pini Zahavi, Carrasco's agent, wants to improve the player's salary to €7m per year.
  • Zahavi will use Newcastle United's interest (since January) to pressure Atletico Madrid into a salary increase.

And both of them in particular pep has spent loads of money signing permanent bench warmers.

Atletico say no to Gabriel Jesus and Real Madrid like him, but being a non-EU national complicates it

The Manchester City striker has been offered by his agents to the two clubs in the capital, reports Antón Meana.

La Liga has a rule that limits the number of non-EU players that can be present in a team. Real Madrid hope to create one more spot when Vinícius Jr. gets his Spanish passport.

Epic translation

So you know that the zero refers to strikers and not defenders
Yeah, that's how you write starting formations in football. It's a pretty universally accepted idea.

Official: Martin Svidersky leaves Manchester United. He'll very likely end up in La Liga with Villarreal having been linked to him in recent months.

"Of course I do get things from the talks between the clubs. I just hope they come to a quick conclusion." 5-year contract for player itself a formality. But indecisive Ajax faces competition from Premier League clubs.

Bergwijn on his options in the summer transfer window:
Several clubs have come forward. Now I just have to find a solution for myself that benefits both parties. I’m leaving.

On the lack of playing time influencing his decision:
We’ve talked about that. But no, I don’t feel cheated. I respect his choices and I have no problem with him at all. In the games I came in, I showed what I can do, scored my goals and provided assists. At one point I really didn’t know what to do to get into the team. However, I never made any problems. But now is the time to leave, you could say that my suitcase is already packed. I cannot afford another season like this, and mentally it’s tough too.
