Feels disrespected by them. They played poker with Haaland and his contract situation and lost.

  • Roma have agreed terms with Celik (€2m net/year)
    • No agreement with Lille as of yet
    • Lille want €9m, whilst Roma's last offer was €6m
      • Roma hope to seal the deal for €7m - €7.5m
  • Roma have earmarked Berardi as Zaniolo's replacement in case the latter leaves Roma.
 

  • Atletico Madrid is renewing their interest in Dybala.
  • The player is waiting for his agents to let him know about all of the interested clubs.
On Inter:
 

  • Belotti hasn't accepted Torino offer.
    • He's also not accepted offers from other interested clubs.
  • At the moment, Monaco are interested, whilst Fiorentina's ruled out.
 
We haven't had a single United rumour all day by the looks of things.

Maybe journalists have run out of names of players that we are supposedly linked with.

There has been very little new news today, but there have been several different United-related rumours:
  • Newcastle not interested in Henderson (Luke Edwards)
  • More of the same about Frenkie de Jong and United (Mundo Deportivo, Sport, Fabrizio Romano)
  • Gonçalo Inácio apparently prefers Man. United over Wolves & Newcastle; apparently United have prepared a bid that Sporting will accept (A Bola)
  • United offered Martial to Benfica as part of the Núñez deal, but Benfica turned him down, insisting they want the cash only (Terceiro Anel)
Out of this list, the first one's a new development, the second one's basically a rehash from the reliable sources, whilst the last two are rubbish. It's going to be a slow day for United news until after the international break unless we have a player who's really, really keen on joining us.
 
AC Monza plan to look at the bigger clubs for reinforcements:

  • Andrea Pinamonti (striker; Inter): negotiations already underway
  • Alessio Romagnoli (defender; AC Milan): not signed with Lazio yet and will not stay at Milan
  • Junior Messias (forward; AC Milan): AC Milan don't want to redeem his purchase option; they'd rather negotiate a lower fee for him
  • Adam Ounas (winger/AM; Napoli)

He is one of those players who I cant decide what his level is. I do believe he has the potential to be a really good player in the right system such as Liverpool, but he hasnt shown any consistency.

Probably seen the development of Andy Robertson and thought, I’ll have me some of that. Agree the game time isn’t likely to be the same though

To be fair, theor player development is unreal, but if that's his line of thinking then he must have seen who Robertson ousted before, TAA is no Moreno, plus TAA is born and bred scouse.

I've never actually seen Ramsay play, but from all the talk he's pretty highly rated, and from the sounds of it could have been a replacement for AWB.

Yeah although it’s a squad game. Plus there was some talk of TAA moving to the wing
 
Getting a good RB to step in for TAA would be good for Liverpool. Tsimikas has settled in nicely as a LB replacement for Robertson and it will mean they don’t have to play a CB or Milner there in future when TAA needs a rest. They’ll probably be able to sell Williams for profit and make money off the deal.
 
I think there could be some movement next week for us. Players return in 2 weeks and all back on 27th.

I think the reports that ETH is prioritizing the midfield are dead on. Things are likely not to move before we get FDJ or an alternative done.
