I don't get the point of this tweet. obviously, if Trippier wants to move to Manchester United then A.Madird will have to look for a replacement.

How long have you been watching football mate? People at the heads of their clubs don't go around and randomly telling other clubs what the release clause fees are. Those are probably the best kept secrets in the world. These things only get out to the public if someone has an agenda. I have just told you how that thing is you can believe that or believe your imaginary world where all the heads are sitting and dicussing how to weaken their teams.
There's very little point in trying to make sense of tweets. It's full of chancers that want to make a living through peddling bsI don't get the point of this tweet. obviously, if Trippier wants to move to Manchester United then A.Madird will have to look for a replacement.
He’s nowhere near Sancho level right now but as Vickery said last year, he’s a great but raw talent. He’s clearly more direct and has a trick or two up his sleeve. So in that regard he’s more talented than James whos future we’ve yet to decide on. Bringing him back here makes no sense whatsoever. Getting games at a good European club or one of the promoted clubs is a better way to go. The lad has improved steadily and that’s what we can expect from him next seasonIt is quite crazy how desperate we are for SAncho really. We have one of our most talented youth players in years breaking through at right wing and we have spent £60m odd on a championship player and two teenagers in the last three years.
Were last summer deals desperation or were we expecting more from these players in a debut season in a new culture? If its neither and the plan was to go back in for Sancho, why on earth were we spending so much on two teenagers?
Time will tell if either were good deals and I like us signing talented youngsters, but you have to consider a SAncho deal....where an earth does Pellestri fit in long term?
Daft comment. Your profile says Arsenal fan too.Agreed. He is worth a bit more than that. Hopefully we get at least 20M for a very experienced midfielder that never gets injured. Serie A's slower tempo will be perfect for him.
Last summer they sold only €5m worth of talent. They have two summers worth of sales to do in just a few months.Dortmund aren't going to sell Haaland this summer. They've been firm on that front and Haaland himself said he respected their decision.
And we know that when Dortmund say something, they mean it.
There's no fixed rule that they have to do that, and if they do have to sell, they can sell Brandt, Burki and Schulz. They don't need to sell Haaland.Last summer they sold only €5m worth of talent. They have two summers worth of sales to do in just a few months.
It all depends on the money. If Chelsea offer over 120m+ I reckon Dortmund will be very interested. Is there a reason that we're all conveniently glossing over this? We know that Dortmund don't budge (see last summer with Sancho). What makes people think that Dortmund will budge over Haaland? @Damien made this point before, yet people still think that Dortmund will somehow give in.

The reason not to buy Sancho is the money must be spent on a top class central defender and defensive midfield both of who should start when fit. After emergency holes have been fixed in the roof you can have the luxuries you want.Pellestri is not even close to being a reason to not sign Sancho. He was a cheap punt who is very much a "eh lets see what happens". He'll go out on loan again next season, who knows if he'll ever even play for the first team.
Not 60m, £50m max. Pellestri = 11m, Amad = 20m, James = 18m. Amad's fee will rise after clauses have been triggered when he plays. Why does everyone have to exaggerate so much. Constant exaggeration in football is mind-numbing. The lad gave 200% today. It is quite crazy how desperate we are for SAncho really. FFS since Nani we have not had a RW.The reason not to buy Sancho is the money must be spent on a top class central defender and defensive midfield both of who should start when fit. After emergency holes have been fixed in the roof you can have the luxuries you want.
The transfer window opened today. And yet United have not signed anyone. fecking ridiculous shambles.
How the hell are Chelsea financing £56m for a full back after last summer's spending and covid?
I think that settles James to the RCB role, good signing any case if it happens.
James wont be at Chelsea in 2 years. I guarentee it.Despite playing their a bit in youth games he's only been a CB 4 times in his senior career losing 3 and winning 1. I think it's more a scenario that he'll end up being backup for RB and eventually sold.
I know, madness, what have we been doing the last few days?!The transfer window opened today.
Their owner is one of the richest men in the world and Chelsea are not in the business to be profitable so they couldn't care less about big expenditure. City and Chelsea will easily outspend everyone else this summer. How the hell are Chelsea financing £56m for a full back after last summer's spending and covid?
But not playing RW allows us to play Greenwood as a second striker from the right. Get Sancho drop Greenwood to the bench?we’ve had a creative hole on the RW for near enough a decade.

My point is you a re a very angry person who needs to calm down before they answer, as you are getting lost in contradictions and double truths. How long have you been watching football mate? You really have to pay attention.
Yeah, we bought Lukaku, we won the summer of 2017. But then we have the history to look at.
We bought Lukaku for 75 million pounds + 15 million in add-ons. That is 90 million pounds. And then we sold Lukaku for 68 million pounds out of which 50 million is still unpaid and we are haggling with Inter. So our net profit on that deal was cool -22 000 000 pounds.
Chelsea bought Alvaro Morata for 60 million pounds. Then they loaned and they sold him to Atletico for 58 million pounds. net profit - 2 million pounds.
You are totally correct. we totally won that deal.
But why are you looking at just 2 transfers?
Lets take a look at when Marina took over as chief of transfers in 2014. Edward had already been in office for 2 transfer windows. So...
Since 2014 -
Chelsea until last summer had spent -15 million pounds net. But we will add last summer to this also to make numbers look better for our club. So -219 million pounds spent over 7 seasons. And for that money they have won 2 premier leagues, 1 FA cup, 1 Champions League cup, 1 Europa cup and 1 league cup.
WE have spent - 646 million british pounds and for that money we have won 1 FA cup, 1 Europa cup and 1 League cup.
So if someone is arguing about Chelsea vs Man Utd. Just shut up and stay still in the corner. Don't interrupt. And that same argument goes for vs Liverpool, vs Man City.
We are badly run club and we will still be badly run after Glazers replace Edward Woodward with Richard Arnold

You compared Chelsea signing Haaland (they havent) and their signing of Havertz as a way of showing how ruthless Chelsea are in the market compared to us.
You seem to miss out on the fact that Chelsea are run completely different to us as a club, with Chelsea it's either win or bust - there isn't any inbetweens. There's no stability and the player turnover is massive.
They are a perrenial cup team, chopping and changing their manager based on whether they are under performing in the league or not. Thats fine if you'd like United to be run that way, but it isn't sustainable.

Try the £1.3 billion they owe Roman??How the hell are Chelsea financing £56m for a full back after last summer's spending and covid?
Yes he does it seems....Seems that he wants a very big, very expensive shiny new toy each and every summer & subsequently get rid of the previous very big very expensive shiny new toy that was bought the previous summer.
Why don't you just become a Chelsea fan if you love them so much?
BTW Richard Arnold isn't the new CEO. No one is. It hasn't been announced yet.
You always get this upset over things that haven't happened yet?
What a waste of a talent and big slap in the face to Chelsea academy graduates.Despite playing their a bit in youth games he's only been a CB 4 times in his senior career losing 3 and winning 1. I think it's more a scenario that he'll end up being backup for RB and eventually sold.
Yeah, maybe I'm being a bit too optimistic for his Chelsea future.Despite playing their a bit in youth games he's only been a CB 4 times in his senior career losing 3 and winning 1. I think it's more a scenario that he'll end up being backup for RB and eventually sold.
