The last thing I want in our manager is just randomly change their systems to accommodate the turd we have.

LvG used to play 433 and he started playing a 3 atb system here for some reason. His 433 was so good for that 3-4 game run. Next season he moved to the dreaded 4231.

Ole used to play 433 at Molde, started off so well here with Matic Herrera Pogba trio but then switched to that fecking 4231 again.

I wouldn't be surprised to see ETH doing the same tbh. I dont have high hopes.

ETH has sued 4-2-3-1 a lot at Ajax.

It could also be that Lindelof or Maguire doesn’t fancy being 3rd or 4th choice. If we sign Bastoni or Torres or Timber then one of those may say I’m off leaving us needing another.
The amount we're overpaying them I doubt they'd go anywhere.

Strange one. Could have pictured him leaving to cash in on a really good season. Is there any talk about a release clause?
Not that I've seen, I believe it was the huge 30% sell on clause that clinched the deal for them. Won't be his final step up if he continues to improve so it guarantees they profit again.

Lego pep wanting a lego Welbeck shocker
Welbeck would be a better signing, at least he would cost nothing, is as or more productive in the premier league than morata and seems to have got his career back on track with brighton

There's the mystery young striker we enquired about.

This kid barely plays for Tottenham. Pellistri and Amad all over again had it came through previously. I meant we have a limited budget for so many immediate positions in first team to fill, yet someone at the club looking for expensive young players way too raw to contribute.

Matt Judge got the boot just before it's too late this time around.

What a pointless signing

He had his use. As third choice GK under Mourinho, we could afford to send Henderson on loan, so he could develop over time into PL level GK. What happened afterward is a shame, but Henderson value in potential sale is well worth it.

Didn't Judge reportdly have very limited knowledge of the game though? To the point where it was rumoured that he couldn't remember the name of a player during transfer negotiations.

This obviously leads you to believe that someone other than Judge identified this target.

Whoever it was, they likely have also got the boot now either way.

De Gea is holding the team back. He’s a very limited, mentally and physically soft goalkeeper, I would take most of the other number ones in PL over him. An active, commanding, modern GK would instantly make us much better.

The last contract extension was already a terrible mistake, which everyone in their right minds knew at the time.

That bolded bit is laughable and straight up ignorant

Nkunku would be fantastic, but for Leipzig to sell he'll probably have to hand in a transfer request, and we'll probably have to make a huge offer. They've been pretty adamant that he won't be sold.

It would have been on a free with his contract expiring
