Pogba is free they could make a move for him now. They can pay him Mbappe's wages can win more at Real.
 
If Mbappe stays at PSG this late in the day then has to be some serious incentives involved.
 



Tottenham are ‘ready to pounce’ on Inter Milan defender Alessandro Bastoni and make a ‘major bid’ to secure him this summer.

That’s according to Corriere Dello Sport, who say Antonio Conte has put his former Inter star at the top of his wishlist as he plans for a big summer transfer window rebuild at Spurs.

Bastoni was very much a key player for Conte during his time with the Italian club, with the coach pushing him into prominence and urging the club to sign him permanently in 2019.

He’s a big fan of the defender and is now ‘waiting for him in London’, with it believed that he will ‘order’ Fabio Paratici to make a move once Champions League football is secured.

Should Tottenham make a move, they will have to pay big to get their man, though, with Bastoni valued at €60-70m.

That’s a big price to pay, but Spurs paid €50m for Cristian Romero last year, and Inter will use that as a benchmark for this deal, adding money on for Bastoni being a year younger and, crucially, left-footed.

Atalanta chief Lee Congerton has Leeds United’s Daniel James in his ‘notebook’ for the summer, according to Calcio Atalanta.

Congerton arrived in Italy following his experience in the UK with Celtic and Leicester City. He has eyes on several Premier League profiles and the list includes the Whites winger.

Leeds United are 18th in the table, level on points with 17th placed Burnley, and their survival in the Premier League will depend on final day results.

The situation at Elland Road could ‘favour’ La Dea in a ‘possible negotiation’ to sign the Wales international as the price tag would be ‘low’ if they are relegated from the top division.

We tried to desperately offload Dalot last year and there were zero takers, especially after some fans on the Caf deluded themselves that he had a decent time of it in Milan and his rep was on upward trajectory.

Now, AWB is not good enough for where we'd like to go but I can see how he'd interest a certain type of team that plays a particular brand of football. But Dalot has no redeeming quality as a footballer. He's not even average. He's just fecking bad.

Nope. We had lots of interest in Dalot from all over Europe, but none to the extent of paying the sort of delusional transfer fee the club wanted. But if we put both players up for sale at £15-20m right now Dalot would obviously get far, far more interest.

The only club who so far have shown any interest in AWB are Palace, and I doubt they'd even consider spending £15m to bring him back. Only way we get rid of AWB this summer is on a loan deal.

We priced Dalot at €20m last summer and there was no interest.

You have no clue what we priced him last summer. Given the totally delusional fees the club have set for fringe players over the last 5-10 years, there's zero chance we'd have priced Dalot at £15m, a 22 year old who'd just been a regular starter while on loan for Milan in a season where they finished 2nd.

We only sold James for £25m, and wouldn't have let Lingard go to West Ham for less than that. Even though they were fringe players who barely got a start all season prior.

I wonder if this is a ETH thing or a Murtough thing. I get this picture in my head that Woodward probably made previous managers keep giving chances to players those managers probably didn’t fancy, especially when the idiot was renewing Phil Jones on new shiny deals.

I get the feeling as Woodward was main contact that he’d probably say ‘I dunno how good they are on the pitch, but they’ve got marketability!’ when LVG and Jose came in, resulting in those two having to find out for themselves.
