You'd think if anyone can, Lampard can improve players like Van de Beek and Dele Alli as they played the same positions as him. I wonder if Lampard has plans to utilise both in the same team, and if he does, it'll either be a pronged attack behind the striker, or VdB playing deeper.

Should be interesting to watch the both of them there. It'll be seriously twisted if VdB is now just an understudy to Deli Alli at a new club, mind.

Like he's cursed or something.

I wish Bentancur signed for Villa that’d been great but Spurs he’ll just be another cog.

Perhaps he sees Spurs as an easier option in terms of game time? They have Skipp and Winks, Højbjerg, not exactly big or exciting players. Bentancur wouldn’t play ahead of McGinn or Douglas Luiz, but they are short in numbers.

If they can play in an attacking role, he could move one to the wing. He will also rotate players.

Lampard was a great attacking midfielder, does not mean he can teach these players the world. Solskjær was a decent striker, it’s not like we revolutionized anything - he was sacked after all and Sancho, Rashford, Lingard and Martial have never looked worse. Buying both Alli and van de Beek sounds crazy, hiring Lampard is crazy, Everton are going to struggle badly.

Awful time to be a United fan made even worse after just realising Lingard is staying.

Yeah awful window for us both on and off the pitch. Unfortunately can see Bentancur having an effect on that Spurs midfield which could tip the balance towards them

Wow, I didn't see that coming!

FYI, the Rapids and Arsenal both have the same owner (the Kroenkes). It's taken a long time, but we've finally seen Arsenal get a player from Colorado.

Likewise. I mean, he's good....but not Premier League good, at least not currently. Maybe they wanted to get a fellow American for Turner to help him settle like this is Football Manager?

Both Fabrizio Romano and Loïc Tanzi are reiterating that Ousmane Dembélé will stay in Barcelona until the end of the season.

  • Atletico Madrid will look for a new CB in case Newcastle United acquire Felipe.
  • Atletico Madrid prefer Barcelona's Lenglet to replace Felipe.

Arsenal have done really well there.
They're very short on strikers. Lacazette and Nketiah are their only options I think. Oh and Martinelli.

I suppose they only have league games to play now.
