You’re thinking too far ahead. We haven’t even started to monitor the player yet. Also the move would make too much sense for us so it’s not going to happen. Club just seems more keen on getting rid of players and not replacing them.
We don't know who our next manager is going to be so we were never going to permanently sign someone when the next manager might not want them. Also if it is Ten Hag then Donny becomes a very viable option in midfield again compared to how he is viewed now.

At this point you have to question why he has never had a run in the team under Solskjaer or RR. I feel like he hasn't had a chance either but I also can't help but feel there is a good reason for it. Considering the players he is competing with he shouldn't have that much trouble getting game time if he is training even remotely well.
Was Ronaldo a good transfer or was he an awful one that we will pay for over the next 2+ (and lets be honest, he will be here as long as he wants).
Varane the jury is out on simply because he seems to be made of biscuits currently.
Sancho the jury is out on because he doesn't fit the way that we play currently because hes an actual technical footballer that expects and needs other good players around him who he can depend on to make runs and support him.
In theory a great window but I think we were overexcited because of the potential quality we were getting rather than the likely reality. No transfer is guaranteed but Ronaldo was very likely to be a mistake on various levels and Sancho was a lot of money for a quality player but one that plays in a completely style to us.

Every last summer is seen as our best transfer window until it isn't. The reality is we haven't had a good summer for a long time.
Ole should have sold him and bought a midfielder he would actually use in the summer.

Trouble with this club is they do not like admitting they might have made a mistake.

Player might be unhappy, not like the league, not get on with the manager, all kinds of things can attribute to that.
OK then change the post to 'this club don't like admitting things aren't working out' we're very, very slow to move on players when they obviously aren't performing as we expect.
