Physically he's miles ahead of his age though and he's obviously not getting game time ahead of Haaland. They probably only mean to get him a loan anyway.

Exactly my point. Haaland will most likely be gone in the summer and then it is his turn to shine. If his agent is simply trying to get him a loan spell until that time I totally understand that, I took it as a threat to play him now or he would look for another team (I did not dig further than the tweet).
 
More info on Luis Díaz + Spurs' transfer activities:

  • Spurs value Díaz at £40M, but his release clause is set to £66M.
  • Sofyan Amrabat
    • Spurs want to loan in the player for the rest of the season.
    • The player's rep is complicating the move.
  • Southampton are interested in bringing Alli in on loan.

What are we actually doing in this market, it seems like our two main rivals for top 4 spot are pushing to trying to make noteworthy additions to their side but we are just happy getting players out of the club.

Son-Kane-Diaz as a front 3 is about as good as it gets for a club like Spurs. Brilliant player.
