Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prade on Amrabat's current situation:
We have had contacts with many teams. Our market, after the purchases we made, is designed only to try to please those who played less and he is one of them. He is strong and wants to play more. In his role there is Torreira and someone like him suffers if he does not play.

Kid just turned 17, absolutely no patience in the world of football anymore.
Physically he's miles ahead of his age though and he's obviously not getting game time ahead of Haaland. They probably only mean to get him a loan anyway.

The total (bonuses included) can reach €55M. Porto must pay €5M to their creditors this month in order to meet the UEFA FFP requirements.

Exactly my point. Haaland will most likely be gone in the summer and then it is his turn to shine. If his agent is simply trying to get him a loan spell until that time I totally understand that, I took it as a threat to play him now or he would look for another team (I did not dig further than the tweet).

More info on Luis Díaz + Spurs' transfer activities:

  • Sofyan Amrabat
    • Spurs want to loan in the player for the rest of the season.
    • The player's rep is complicating the move.
  • Southampton are interested in bringing Alli in on loan.
    • Alli's wages are in excess of £100K/week.
    • Brighton are also interested as well as some German clubs.
  • Lo Celso has been linked to Sevilla.
    • May have a tough time moving as he's currently with the Argentinean national team
  • Tanganga and Doherty can also leave on loan.

  • Real Sociedad want the £76M release clause paid in full for Isak.
    • Isak himself isn't so keen on playing for Arsenal.
  • Everton value Calvert-Lewin at over £50M.
  • Arsenal have yet to decide on whether they will loan out Aubameyang to a European rival.
    • AC Milan, Marseille, and PSG are all interested.

Has he never heard of Zoom?

What are we actually doing in this market, it seems like our two main rivals for top 4 spot are pushing to trying to make noteworthy additions to their side but we are just happy getting players out of the club.

He should interview for the Broncos job while out there.

  • Arsenal haven't submitted an offer to Real Madrid.
  • Real Madrid want to keep Jovic as Benzema's currently hurt.
    • Jovic is Benzema's primary backup, anyways.
    • Real Madrid will evaluate Jovic's standing in the team in the summer.

If we let him go, we’re left with McFred, Matic, Bruno and a wantaway Pogba as our only midfield options across 3 different competitions. Doesn’t seem sensible. Surprising as I thought Donny would have been one player that would have thrived under Rangnick.

An injury prone Pogba as well. In all seriousness who would be our 5-6th options. Mejbri? Charlie Savage?

Sporting head coach Ruben Amorim on the João Palhinha transfer situation:
Palhinha goes to the game. Regarding the market, we don’t know. Seven days to go. It’s a short space, everyone will know what’s going to happen, it’s not worth thinking about.

When asked if €30M will be a good amount:
That isn’t with me, I look more at the technical-tactical part. Palhinha is sorely missed, but whatever happens we’ll resolve the sporting part.

Son-Kane-Diaz as a front 3 is about as good as it gets for a club like Spurs. Brilliant player.

Yeah will bite us in the arse when we come to that horrible fixture list in March
