You think they'll be the only club trying for him when he's available on a free? Not to mention the insane sign on fee and wages he'd want as a free agent. Real are having a free run at him this summer, which they most definitely will not next year.

By all accounts he doesn't want to go anywhere else. It's madness to pay 200m and I can't see it happening.

I somehow don't think a club that's stopped spending any money on transfers for the past few years, is now suddenly chucking 200m around to flex.

They have to keep up appearances. If they get him, great look how relevant and powerful Real still are. If not, they can say look we wanted to spend.

Now that's a lot more believable but aren't those Leonardo quotes a week old though?
They are a week old but I guess we'll soon find out, if true PSG will definitely try to legally challenge Madrid for compensation. I just don't see PSG rejecting 200 mill on a player that you know will leave for free just for an ego boost or a bit of pride and don't see Madrid having enough to even offer that amount. Madrid bluffing makes a lot more sense.

More on Hudson-Odoi: apparently, the player has agreed to personal terms with Dortmund!

[Serdar] Azmoun is not expected to join Olympique Lyonnais this summer. Zenit hold back their attacker, as the Russians have not found an alternative in the market.

The last I read Dortmund do not want to pay all of his 120K pounds a week wage.
That is what I'd expect from Dortmund, and I'd also expect Chelsea to be a bit more flexible in this regard if Hudson-Odoi does want to leave on loan.

Why would Chelsea replace Hudson-odoi with Saul? That's like us loaning out diallo and replacing him with....well Saul?

Saúl has played as a wing back a few times for Atletico Madrid, so that's what he might be basing that on.

Not the striker we need, but one for the future and most likely to be loaned straight back out.

At this time key meeting between the representatives of Emerson Royal and Barcelona. Tottenham is applying more pressure and offers a very good salary to the Brazilian, who has not yet said yes.

  • Fee: €10m
  • Adli will return to Bordeaux on loan for this season.
  • Milan are still working on Romain Faivre but could move on to other targets if the deal doesn't close today.
  • Milan are not in for James Rodriguez.

  • The deal is likely to be a loan.
  • Castillejo is ready to move onto a new club and hinted as such on social media.

Nottingham Forest are interested in former Fulham forward Josh Maja.

Nottingham Forest has made an offer of 4.5 million euros to Bordeaux for Josh Maja. The striker could leave the L1 before tomorrow evening.

Note: there is yet to be an agreement between Emerson and Tottenham. Until that happens, this transfer isn't closed.

FYI, this is the fee that the clubs agreed on:

BELLERÍN: Barcelona is considering his loan as announced by Matteo Moretto
My details: A.M. Alemany [Barcelona sporting director] likes it. But Koeman doesn't want to expand the roster any further. The alternative for Hector Bellerin is to go on loan to Betis while waiting for news from FCB.

He [Koeman] does not want to expand the [playing] staff any further; unless a striker comes. A 9. That's what the head coach sees as 100% necessary. Barcelona is moving to bring one on loan.

  • Roma are finding Pastore, Fazio, and Nzonzi difficult to move on.
  • Nzonzi refused offers from Benfica, several La Liga clubs, English Championship clubs, and Saudi clubs.
    • Latest rejection was for a team from Qatar, which offered much better terms than what he currently has with Roma
