If we are that interested in the Monaco kid, we might get him if we can get a transfer for Lingard and if Monaco is eliminated from the CL. I would rather we get him over Trippier if we can only make one final transfer.

€20m euros seems quite a lot. Do Brazilian clubs spend that much on players?

Dunno how reliable this journy is

I’m not sure Bailey is that reliable, but I do still feel like we’ll do something this summer and I think Trippier or Neves are most likely. I’m basing that on nothing but high hopes though

honestly we should let Pereira go for £5m

everyone knows how this will play out, he'll leave on a free at the end of his contract

They will have 14 years of him. What a signing he's been for them. Not out of the question that he could overtake Raul in terms of goals scored for real in the next two years and finish as reals second all time goalscorer (behind Ronaldo). 42 goals away.

I don't understand the misuse of ø, it feels like a bit of mockery. ø is basically 'oe' in Scandinavian script. If they wanted to do the whole sentence in Norwegian, it might be easier to do that.

I also don't get why they're welcoming him home when he is from close to Oslo. Just because he had a loan spell there doesn't mean its home.

It’s a weird move for a top young talent. Aside from Gnabry (who left 6 years ago) I can’t think of a single Arsenal player who has developed well and gone on to better things.

Would be pretty cool — second top scorer and leading assists in Madrid’s history. Would be some career.

Yeah proper cringe that

Why are we pretending as if Flamengo will pay €20m for Andreas Pereira?
We all know that he is coming back after the loan deal, since the deal is an option to buy ,not an obligation to buy.

No European Club will pay €20m for Andreas Pereira ,never mind a South American club. Is it not better to reduce the fee and make an obligation to buy or sale him and get his salary off our book?

Does anyone on here think Flamengo would be taking up the option to sign Pereira permanently?!

We are appalling at selling players, that much is well established, but from a purely business point of view, why we don't just let their contracts wind down and move on free, I will never know. Paying ridiculous wages and never recouping the outlay.

Locatelli was eventually done. This...well, slow and steady...

I’ve been seeing posts about this contract renewal for a while now. What’s the alternative for Dybala? Which club has registered interest in him, should he not want to extend with Juvenuts?

We would've been better off giving him away to a club for free to get his wages off the books.

Horrendous deal, who's negotiating these on our behalf?

If they like him they can buy him for circa £15m, probably wouldn't happen but at least this deal gets him in the shop window and saves half of his salary,

Same goes for Jones. That contract renewal still looks every bit as laughable as it did at the time.

Yeah, the problem is why would Jones and Pereira willingly give up those wages they are contractually obliged to get?

At least we save some of the expenses by loaning Pereira out.

He’d have plenty of suitors. He’s world class but he’s injured a lot. Without injuries he’s one of the best forwards in the game.
We want another midfielder and Koopmeiners is available for €18m? Feels like good value!
Bargain price for the right club. He’ll leave as he has been kicking up a fuss this season.

He must not be given away for free ,we could sale him for 5m-10m quid, is it not better than paying his salary while he contributes nothing to us and still release him for free at the end of his contract?

After all that whoring around Europe, after few years you end up in Arsenal thats in shambles, at least he earned some money.

I reckon we’ll sign both in deadline day

Lingard will go too
