Tanganga's representative, Roberto de Fanti, on approaches for the player:
We have received many proposals for the dry loan [i.e. no purchase option/obligation] because Tottenham firmly believes in the player and does not want to grant a sale. The market is constantly evolving, already two years ago he had to be loaned and then [José] Mourinho made him one of the pillars of his defence before Covid. There are still days before the market closes, we will see what happens. He comes from a great recognition, that is man of the match on the occasion of the last match [against City].

UOL have joined Extra in reporting that the loan includes a purchase option for Andreas Pereira.

EDIT: More info from other Brazilian outlets

Fred Caldeira states that Flamengo will pay 60% of the salary, and the loan won't have a purchase option. However, O Dia join UOL and Extra in claiming that there is a purchase option (O Dia claim that the fee is €15 million).

More info:
  • Reminder: Gary Cahill's currently a free agent
  • Bournemouth are also hoping to bring City's Morgan Rogers in on a season-long loan.
  • Bournemouth will get some money off of Ramsdale's sale to Arsenal (15% sell-on clause).

  • Basic's contract expires next year.
  • €1 million difference between Lazio's offer and Bordeaux's demand

I know players should back themselves and all that but it should be fairly obvious to him he isn’t going to be a first team regular.

Surely a season like last season is more valuable to him than league cup and the odd sub ons

Transfer fees are only half the story and are what the media and fans obsess over. The reality is that for those three players the total package would be close to three quarters of a billion.
Mbappé money will come out of the Bale-Isco-Marcelo wages, the others are not quite so clear. If stadiums stay open and things begin to go back to normal our revenue should be enough for the other 2, otherwise it's not so clear we can afford all 3. We will likely look to sell a few more players like Ceballos, Asensio, Jovic, maybe one of the brazilians. Modric will come off the books if we're going for Pogba, so that would go some way to cover his wages at least

This is all theoretical of course
The post I quoted specifically mentioned this summer. It's an impossibility to get all 3 this window.
We're not getting any of them this window. And we're only trying to sign Mbappé right now

  • The initial Inter offer was too low.
  • More recent talks have brought the sides closer together in the fee to be paid.

It is nearly impossible for Lingard to be a starter now, he should understand it himself. Even if he hits top form.

He never displaces Bruno - no player in the world would manage it now. And when Bruno is rested, there are also options of Pogba (as AM, with Sancho or Martial or Rashford at LW) and VDB. I truly believe Lingard may get himself above VDB in the pecking order, but would it help?

At the same time, we clearly have better options on the wings.

Hopefully it's an obligation to buy.
It's not, unfortunately. This was also reported by various Brazilian outlets. On the bright side, at least there's a purchase option; Fred Caldeira was reporting that there wasn't going to be one.

Flamengo transfer record is 14.5m euros. Sure they are going to exercise 15m euros option to buy Andreas and break their transfer record.
Just to be sure, who was that for? Also, Flamengo have been splashing the cash more often and also got a big fee for Gerson's sale, recently. That release clause isn't too surprising.

According to Transfermarket it is Gabriel Barbosa for 17.4m euros. That 14.8m was in 2018-19 season for Giorgian de Arrascaeta.

But yes they have spent in recent years so hopefully they will exercise the option for Andreas as well but I am not optimistic. Lazio didn't exercise it last season as we kept something like 25m as buy option.
