no way they pay 50 million for him, he didn't do all that much did he?
I don't know any arsenal fans who don't love him tbh.

He needs TP for his bunghole!Take Everton's offer & stick on a sell-on clause. He needs PT.
that is what I thought till I saw this, I wouldn't put it pass them over paying like they did on ben white
A PL club would be better, for his development.
He would look even older without his implanted and dyed hairKlopp looks older and tired without his glasses
Well , not necessarily - it could be to big of a step for him and result in him not getting the needed gametime. But its ofcourse impossible to predict really. I’d say Championship or the german, french or italian league would be a more safe bet.
Bayern interested in Feyenoord's LB Malacia (21), and came to Feyenoord - FC Luzern (conference league) to watch.
Not a source on the tier list, but these guys break the news first so often, they must have an inside source.
The kid is in the preliminary senior Dutch NT squad. He's been excellent in preseason/conference league and the Dutch u21s at the euros (MVP vs France).
Feyenoord already turned down an offer from Brugge for him, and he is rumoured to be an Ajax target as well.
He's not much good to us if he can't hack it in the PL, now is he?
No, but you cant really expect him to kick off in PL after just a few Serie A apperances at 19 years of age can you ? The whole idea of loaning players out is to match them gradually so they might be fully ready in a year or two’s time

no way
If I'm not mistaken (and I very well might be, but I try to err on the side of defamation on this one) he had some kind of hair transplant/augmentation thing many, many years ago, possibly when he was still at Mainz and was working as a pundit for German state TV.His hair is very obviously dyed, but I didn't know he'd had a hair transplant. He had to sort his teeth out too a couple years ago because they looked like a broken-up, yellow picket fence.
I agree - he does look old and tired in that video.

The image in the tweet above provides a good opportunity to picture him in one's mind the way he actually might look.
Edit: quick googling shows that it's a matter of public record he did a hair transplant procedure 10 years ago, the doctor in question even gave interviews about it.
The accepted rule stick in football is that it tskes 18 months after your back on the pitch plqying competitive football to get back to your best form. That happen with Falcao and numerous others. Obviously age plays a part. However losing half a yard of pace is not uncommon with these type of injuries. Not true at all.
Ruud tore his ACL before joining United and I think we'd all agree he was brilliant for us. Alex Morgan (US women's player) tore her ACL in high school and went on to be one of the best footballers in the women's game. Shearer tore his ACL at Blackburn in the mid 90s and seemed to have a pretty good career at Newcastle...
Outside of football - The season after tearing his ACL and MCL in December, Adrian Peterson played in the first game of the following season 8.5 months later, finished the season 9 yards shy of breaking the single season rushing record, was named first team all NFL and voted the best player in the league. There are numerous other examples in the NFL and NBA.
Do all athletes come back as strong or stronger after ACL (or other soft tissue) injuries? No, of course not. But let's not pretend it's unprecedented. VVD can absolutely come back at his prior level, especially as a CB. It's not like he's a marauding winger.
Maxwel Cornet in Burnley would be a sight to behold.
Interesting. From what I've seen, I think he hit his peak relatively early. He had tons of promise when he was first coming up, but I think the lack of an established role has meant that he was never going to get much better. So I take it he stagnated a bit? About two or three seasons ago he was linked to Dortmund by relatively serious sources.
The Lyon fans I know never rated him particularly highly, to my surprise, even back when he was touted as a candidate for clubs like BVB, and even Bayern IIRC.So I take it he stagnated a bit? About two or three seasons ago he was linked to Dortmund by relatively serious sources.
Finally, it's done. No announcement video, sadly
The buyback clause will be set to 55 million Euros.

The official announcement:
Barcelona are also working on reducing Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets' wages. Both players are willing to cooperate with the club in this matter.

There were some dumb stories from Spain about Real Madrid leaving La Liga and trying to apply to the Premier League. I don't know how or why those came to be.Have I missed something? Has RM been talking about moving to PL?
