It’s not a couple of grand on a credit card mate, it’s the debt of millions of pounds,

United clearly are not arsed as they’ll get their money but it’s just my opinion and clearly others that there should be some rules put in place where you should be made to pay off the remainder amount of said Player if you decide to sell them on before being able to keep that for yourself.
What if said player has been sold to the next club to be paid in installments again?
What if they've been sold for less than they were bought for?
People are getting confused by a scenario that is probably pretty common because they are trying to link it to our transfer 'budget'.

I really doubt they would make an exception since what you mentioned will happen for sure.

And, they don't also do huge payments in term of wages and agent fees I think.
Bayern pays top wages. Lewandowski is on €25m and Neuer, Müller, Kimmich are on €20m. That’s not Messi/Ronaldo/Neymar insanity but absolutely competitive.

The usual practice is that Inter will continue to pay the outstanding Lukaku fee they owe us in instalments, as per our agreement with them.
They'll follow the installment plan in the original sales contract, that doesn't change just because they sold him on.

That's crappy. Should be a lien on player registrations.

This is unfair. Where is the FFP? These guys casually spend 300 million per year on wages and 100 net with transfers.
FFP? Do me a favour, these are the same cnuts that, through money, have convinced FIFA to run a World Cup in the middle of most of the world’s domestic season, at the same time they told Australia that it wouldn’t be possible to hold it there because of the heat, and if I’m not wrong the Australian FA/ government are still in the process of taking the slimy feckers the court.

UEFA, FIFA are corrupt as you can get and it won’t change anytime soon, there’ll be lip service to appear to be doing the right thing but nothing will change.

I thought it was decided that the window would shut prior to PL kicking off?

Good on mbappe if that's true. Lots of respect to him when it looks like every other star wants the easy way out

Where are Madrid going to get £100M+ from?
Perez has been saving everything Madrid have for Mbappe this summer. Thats why they havent bought anyone, let players leave and only signed Alaba on a free. Madrid have the money to buy Mbappe if PSG will sell and Mbappe wants to go to Madrid and nowhere else. Its simply whether he goes this summer or next to madrid.

Juve will be huge contenders for Haaland. One of the few big teams who do a lot of business with Raiola
Only if they can get rid of Ronaldo and his astronomical wages. Unfortunately for Juventus the only club who could have realistically bought Ronaldo this summer are signing Messi. So Juventus and Ronaldo are stuck with each other.

That was tried last year for PL only and dropped as it was a bad idea and clubs hated it as the rest of europe was still open for business.

  • Inter's plan after selling Lukaku: bring in 1 wing back + 2 strikers
    • One of the strikers have to be for free or on loan
  • Wing back option: Denzel Dumfries
  • Striker options:
    • Duvan Zapata (Atalanta)
      • Contingent on Atalanta getting Abraham from Chelsea
    • Joaquín Correa (Lazio)
      • Zapata alternative
    • Edin Dzeko (Roma)
      • Inter offered 2-year contract; waiting for Roma's response
      • Roma need a replacement to allow Dzeko to leave
    • Gianluca Scamacca (Sassuolo)
      • Dzeko alternative

Apparantly have some money saved up + Varane. And they’ll put everyone up for sale if needed.

I was always under the impression they needed to wait until he was free to obtain him, PSG will surely be asking more than inter just got for Lukaku, even with just a year left on his contract. Hopefully it happens though as if they spunk that then they wont be in for Haaland next summer.

  • Talks have continued with not much progress.
  • Pjanic is Plan B
  • Tchouameni is Plan C

I thought it was decided that the window would shut prior to PL kicking off?

No managers called for it at first I think (mostly relegated dinosaur types Warnock, Pulis etc can't remember who exactly but stupid PL bigwigs listened anyway) and then U-turned when they realised players were still open to getting picked off by clubs abroad leaving them without bringing in replacements because they decided to close themselves off early before other leagues shut their windows.

Lukaku has such an interesting career trajectory:

Anderlecht > Chelsea > West Brom > Everton > United > Inter > Chelsea

Levy will end up holding onto to his cash cow until its udders dry up. It's another Koulibaly situation in the making.

He should lower the asking price in order to get a top fee while he still can. Kane's value is only going to go down from here. Probably quite steeply if the injuries keep up.

I completely disagree with you, he should keep him at least for another season, if City want him they'll come back next season and his value will probably be the same or more after scoring another 30 goals.

Too many unknowns. What if Kane has an injury ridden season? Or city decide to go for Haaland?

Kane will go, it will be the same as Berbatov and Modric. Levy will let them go on the final day of the window. Dunno why Bernardo Silva is linked as he wants to leave the country and play in Spain.
