Messi to PSG leading to Mbappe staying there, Pogba running down his contract...real going for Haaland cuz Mbappe is not available.

Worst case scenario for us.
 
Give out ridiculous wage contracts that clearly wasn't viable in the long term and this is what happens! If the Prem teams aren't careful, they could find themselves in a similar situation (albeit wages are nowhere near as ridiculous, but nonetheless, still) if one of the income building blocks was to pull out..

Interestingly, he's not the only one reporting this in such a manner. Other journalists are saying something similar.

I'd expect him to run his contract down now, play a season with Messi and then move on to his dream club at Madrid and win the league whilst Barce are in turmoil.

Messi isn't a slouch on the assist front either.
 
Instead of waiting until we sell players to sign players, we should be signing players so the players we want to sell will see they have no chance of playing and want to be sold.
