I am very excited about this and hope that it happens, even though I'm not a spurs fan, just so I can see more of him. He looks brilliant.

I don't think he's ready. They could buy him as a potential prospect and develop him further themselves, or send him on loan but if their intention is to have him form an important part of the first team, I don't think he's ready.

Good deal. He did alright for them last season and he showed glimpses of improvement during the pre-season matches.
I expect him to play more minutes compared to last season. I really like him.

Incoming hate

Really hope we get this done though, very tidy player.

I had never heard of him before the Euros but since then I have watched at least two youtube comps and am therefore pretty much an expert on him now, and I think he can come in right away and tear it up.

He works hard defensively and has an amazing first touch. He might not have the pure pace necessary to play out wide, but I really do think he could make an impact as a number 10.

Would rather we played him next season than sell for that fee and invest £30m in a soon to be 31 year old Trippier.

Dalot is absolutely terrible. We can't play him, we should take whatever we can because he's useless here. Whether Trippier or someone else we badly need a full back due to our lack of depth and injury to Telles.

Any rumours about Andrea Belotti? I see his contract expire next summer. Think he would fit us very well.
Apparently, there's a bunch of interest, but the only one I've seen reported is the one from Zenit, who are the most advanced of all the other sides (offers submitted to Torino).

Slightly reduced fee for Chelsea to buy Lukaku due to the solidarity payments

Even if the clause does exist, Coutinho has only played 90 times so far, and there's not much likeliness of him getting those 10 remaining appearances.

Pellistri wouldnt be much effective in PL asides glimmers, and wont be an defensive asset like James is

I don't care about defensive wingers, James is out of his depth here and completely brainless in attack, I don't want to see more minutes wasted on him when we have 3 exciting young talents ready for their opportunity.

If you want to sacrifice winning games for it thats your opinion

This was always going to happen. The numbers simply don’t work, and the operation they have been trying to pull this summer is a joke where the obvious solution was Messi simply leaving. If Messi stays they won’t have any team to play alongside him, it’s common sense.

Some new players not yet even registered, others they are trying to force out. At the end of the day the numbers need to make sense.
