  • Whislt Southampton were put off by Brandon Williams's loan fee, Norwich City are keen on bringing Brandon Williams in on loan.
  • Dalot's future hinges on what happens with the Trippier transfer.
    • AC Milan would like to bring him back on loan.
  • Axel Tuanzebe: both Aston Villa and Newcastle United are interested in a loan.
    • Total cost (to cover both the loan fee + wages): 5 million Pounds
    • Tuanzebe has 1 year left + an option for 1 more year
  • James Garner: Sheffield United and Nottingham Forest are two of several clubs interested in a loan
  • Andreas Pereira wants a permanent transfer out of United.
    • Sentiment shared by United
  • Pellistri expected to leave on loan
  • Solskjaer has to decide on whether to loan Amad out or not.
  • Varane transfer may be completed next week.
    • Varane's waiting for a visa and then will need to quarantine when entering England.

Was holding out hope Varane might get a few mins vs Everton. Unlikely to play vs Leeds then I guess

Am I right in saying prices for centre backs on the European market are a lot higher than they usually are? It’s always expensive in England but looking at some of the potential moves it kind of seems thats that’s transferred to Europe this window

Nice so Dalot + Williams sound like they'll be moved on loan. Pereira is up for a move out and Tuanzebe loan on the cards. That's positive.

I don't understand this one. Jesse will be a bit part player at best for us and I don't think that a better club than Westham will even want him.
Ask yourself why you would want to leave United for West Ham for less money?

I’d rather sh*t in my own shoes every morning before work than take that deal. I’m sure Jesse feels similar.

He’s done well by going there on loan and showcasing what he is capable of, now I expect he fancies his chances of staying at the club he supports and has always wanted to play for.

Juventus could either bring back Pjanic or loan or get him for free if Pjanic terminates his contract with Barcelona.

Inter Milan in the last few hours have said 'no' to a offer from Chelsea for Lukaku : Chelsea offered 100M plus Marcos Alonso

Inter could have easily profited from this transfer, but it's clear that they really want to keep Lukaku. To be fair, he's a critical player for Inter, so why should they let him go?

I guess they’re just holding out for the straight 100m?

Well, this is one way for Udinese to get a decent player from a club competing against them in Serie A.

€100m is about £85m. Bearing in mind they bought him for £74m and are still paying that off. Then factor in a rumoured sell on clause.. I think inter will want about €120m minimum

What I don't get is why Chelsea are going after such unattainable players. What gives them the confidence that a deal could be done? Or do they expect failure in the hopes that the players see how much they're valued by Chelsea?

EDIT: In a way, this sort of reminds me of us going after Fabregas in that summery of 2013...

Why are Chelsea back in for that Lump Lukaku? Going for the record number of striking flops if they don’t have it already.

I think the people in charge really feel with a top striker the team can be a title winning team for a lot of years. Most of the team is in their early to mid twenties. You never know how these things pan out, but Roman is in a spending mood and FFP seems to be very ambiguous. It might be the only year to get away with it?

If the sell on clause is true then let's hope Chelsea aren't going to include players in the deal as that will reduce our payment substantially
