We hear this every single summer without fail, and every summer he moves 0 times.
What we hear is usually clubs wanting to sign him, never him wanting out until now...

Simeone isn't ever one to hold players hostage either so if he wants to leave then he'll be allowed to leave

He's fallen out of favour this season due and didn't even make the Spain squad for the Euros due to poor form.

Saul wants to leave the Spanish champions and apparently Juventus are interested.

If United were ran by serious people we would and should be all over him...

We've been linked with him for years. I expect a wave of new reports linking us again. If we're buying two midfielders, yes, we should be all over this. But a deep lying midfielder who screens the defense is the priority.

No chance we buy 2 CM.

Yeah, it would be an enormous surprise (unless Pogba is off). I'm just saying, I'd love Saul, but not at the expense of addressing a huge problem in our first XI.

But Saul will strengthen our starting XI significantly.

He's not even a starter for Atletico anymore. His signing would only make sense if Pogba leaves and even then would be a massive downgrade.

Yeah big fan of the guy but not a chance of getting him or Grealish while Pogba is still here

Saul once again fails to be in Spain national team, been 2 years. Koke & Llorente seems to be overshadowing him this season. I wouldn’t call he will strengthen our XI significantly as a guarantee.

Saul is more talented and technical than Llorente but Llorente is way above him in term of both this season performance and pecking order.

Agreed. Quite clearly we need first choice CM, a proper defensive mid and a proper controller. Not going to happen. Next best thing would be start with at least one. My preference is DM cuz that would help defence out and I'm hoping Mejbri will get his chance and show we don't need a controller ( I know that's not realistic)

That's more due to his attitude and application than his ability. This season, he's become less committed to Simeone and Atlético's cause, and that's made his performances way worse. I've noticed him play with less intensity than the rest of the team in several matches this season, and Spanish journalists have also brought up his lack of commitment to the cause.

I wouldn't be surprised if Saúl moves this summer. He's got no place in Atlético's title-winning team, now.

Other notable players: Cameron Carter-Vickers (loan from Spurs), Rodrigo Riquelme (on loan from Atlético de Madrid), Shane Long (on loan from Southampton)

In the German version of his Tweet, Berger acknowledges the initial report from Bild on this link.

EDIT: Romano goes one step further

Wijnaldum agents back in offices closing the agreement with Barça

Gerard Romero then goes on to credit Matteo Moretto for the breaking news as well as Alex Pintanel.

EDIT: English Tweet

EDIT 2: Matteo Moretto has also mentioned that Wijnaldum will earn a salary that's lower than his Liverpool one.

Whats with Dortmund and Swiss GKs  They will have 3, Bürki probably leaving though
Yeah, I'm expecting Bürki to leave. Hitz has been okay, so I'm expecting him to continue as a backup keeper.

EDIT: Arsenal want 25 million Euros. Roma are willing to offer 20 million Euros (bonuses included).

For a few weeks Leonardo, has come into contact with Achraf Hakimi. PSG made Hakimi their priority on the Parisian right flank.
But PSG faces competition from 2 major European clubs including Bayern Munich and another club whose name has not filtered.

What was Gini's issue with liverpool? was it the amount or contract length?

There are certain possibilities that Lucas Torreira will stay at Atlético de Madrid. The parties still have to negotiate on the cost of the transfer.

I wonder if the COVID situation in Argentina could be playing a part (if minor). I'm surprised that Torreira hasn't had any option other than Boca for a transfer at this time.
