+ Dembele

Of all people, Dembele should know better what racism can do to anyone. But maybe when you earn millions each month without playing and just sitting your ass at home playing games and being unprofessional let you forget all the pains and sufferings anyone can get from racism.

I hope that United should get away from these players with their racist and ignorant behaviour even if they are free.

Club should do more about racism than just their media campaign just to make them look good. Just look at that Clip, they went to Japan for frienly matches but then go ahead and being racist toward their own fans. I cant imagine how bad the feeling being mocked by your favorite players. But the club dont care, players dont care, you can see by how the club dont even try to masked whats going on in that clip.

I am sure he was a pop-artist in the 80s

His hair does remind me of Michael Bolton a little or maybe it's Kenny G?

Oh yeah, it's Kenny G

Some fall from grace after Guenduzo was giving it the big’un against Brighton a couple of years back.

Onuachu's agent on his client's situation:
It will be nice if Arsenal want him as he is a boyhood fan of the team, but that is not the case at the moment. No contact has been made yet. We are only seeing it in the papers and on the internet. I can’t confirm anything at the moment because we are still very much at the stage of receiving and assessing offers. We will be more clear on options soon. For now, we are not confirming anything.

Dreams crushed.
Then we have to keep hold of Pogba.
Hopefully we land Varane.

Has Dharmesh ever said anything worth listening to? He’s awful. His job is basically reading out tweets.

Even if he doesn't sign a new contract before the window closes, he can still sign a new one right up until the end of the next summer transfer window, so there's plenty of time.

That's not how football works. If Pogba doesn't sign an extension before the window ends he'll be 100% leaving, either sold in this window or leaving for free next summer.

He can sign a pre-contract with whoever he wants in 6 months time. He's not going to sign an extension with us when he and Raiola have made it clear for years he wants out.

There's been no good news to question. No quote out of Raiola or Pogba has been positive on him staying here.

Hertha Berlin sporting director Fredi Bobic on Matheus Cunha's transfer situation:
His advisor was with me; we exchanged ideas. He was on a European tour. It was a good conversation. I told him that I am very happy that Matheus is with us. He is our best footballer. But he has to change a few things about himself because otherwise, he will have problems in the future, no matter where he plays. If he commits himself completely to Hertha, he’s a player we don’t have to worry about. If he wants to move on, then only if the economic conditions are right.

It’s very simple: either you commit completely and dig in – or you bring something that makes sense. I had the feeling that the advisor thought that was great. That was a clear statement; he can deal with that. And it’s not like there are 20 clubs lining up right now.

He can definitely sign right up until the current contract ends. There’s no specific deadline when or when he can’t renew.

That’s not how football works?! Give me a break. It’s a contract of employment, got nothing to do with Football what so ever.

Sure he can sign a pre-contract with someone but that doesn’t mean he will.

If you think Pogba will just be allowed by the club to carry on under the pretext he "might" sign a new deal at some point in the next year... well, good luck with that.

Doesn't suit the club's interests and doesn't suit his interests either. If he gets a serious injury before January without signing an extension with us or a pre-agreement elsewhere he'll be financially fecked.

One way or the other it'll come to a head before the end of the transfer window. New deal or cheerio.

We've seen other footballers not renew then end up with injuries. Can't remember names but this happened fairly recently.
Didn't Angel Gomes renew in the last few weeks of his contract? Can't remember how old he was then, maybe we wouldn't have been able to sell him.

Camavinga has more experience than either Rooney or Ronaldo when we bought them. Rooney cost £27m - long ago.

Yes this is true too. Ronaldo had pretty much none though. It did take him a fair while to kick on, but he started pretty much straight away and the talent was obviously there even when he was Mr Greedy Stepover. Rooney was obviously a non brainer.

I can understand peoples concerns about signing one youngster for our midfield when it is so barren. TBH I understand less though the concerns as a Pogba replacement (I dont see him as one regardless of Pogba going or staying myself though) when Pogba hasnt been a roaring success consitently in the same position for 5years.

Im sure people will prove me wrong, but over the last 10-20years, jsut how many players have there been with 80 first team appearances at the age of 18 showign genuine world class potential, barely any, we should be really excited there appears a genuine chance of signing him this summer

Hence buy best of british if possible if not look abroad. I may get shot down for this but i think any successful team needs a core of players of that domestic nationality.

Well didnt do Wengers Arsenals sides any harm did it. Personally, I want the best players there whether they are British or foreign, though I think it is seriously beneficial that they understand the club and have affection for it as we have seen with so many foreigners over the last 30years.

I think rather than needed though it is more pleasing when its players from your own country for the side, especially when its players bought up through the academy too. Of coruse with this, it is more likely you get the understanding and affection for the club early on.

I would love us to sign Britihs players too as we have done with Sancho, as there are so many young talents at the moment. Obviously as others have said, some of the prices are ridiculus though, Rice being an obvious one. Also with the premiership awash with so much money, is the fear of younger English players moving and getting games....Bellingham would never have happened the way it did 15years ago

.
This is true and was reported on by the likes of Stone, Hirst, Ducker etc. But they also reported that Solskjaer wanted to create a British core similar to the Fergie days, which was later abandoned.
Maguire, Shaw, Wan-Bissaka, Rashford, Greenwood, Sancho, McTomminay, Henderson… the British core is pretty much there already. With Sancho as the last one, I don’t know how it is abondoned, unless we want a team 100% British, like Burnley…

I think everyone in the club want quality signings to make the team better. And quality means talent and a good spirit, not nationality…
