Not a bad team that

This might actually be possible   .

No way Goretzka goes from Bayern...

If Pogba goes I just hope that wont affect the chances of landing Varane...
After pointing fingers at each other I don't think that would be a factor. If the rumours are to be believed.

Well, their manager search has been a shit show!

Start with him if rumours are to be believed, try multiple others, get turned down a lot, with gattuso citing a big mess at Spurs and go back to the one you looked at at the beginning. Classic Spurs

Yeah weird, can’t instil much confidence in Nuno from his new employer.

Aside from a Poch return I actually think it’s the better appointment they could have made from the people they were linked with imo.
I know Nuno gets the ‘boring’ label here but I think he could bring a togetherness that Jose would have provided the exact opposite of during his time there.

They will be worse off regardless once Kane leaves, they will need a manager to steady the ship. That person is far more likely to be Nuno than Gattuso for example.

Isn't he a striker? Does it mean that Kean is staying at Everton? Or they're planning for post Mbappe?
He's not. He's a goalscoring #10 who was made to play as more of a striker by Simone Inzaghi. In PSG, he'll basically be Poch's Dele Alli. How he'll fit in remains to be seen, but I can see him taking one of Draxler or Sarabia's spot in the squad.

He's been making sociopolitical posts for a long while, so it's no surprise to see him eventually move into the political realm of journalism.
This is tier one level bullshit.

At best it’s his agent planting seeds in an attempt to put pressure on Bayern for a new deal.
I can see United being interested in Goretzka, but whether it'll result in any movement remains to be seen. Whilst Goretzka is indeed interested in continuing with Bayern Munich, his situation is slowly evolving into Coman's; Bayern Munich are sort of exploiting the players who want to stay by submitting lowball offers to them. Bayern's position is that they want to save money because of the impact of the pandemic, so they're hoping for the players to sacrifice some of their pay for the club. We've seen Coman go with Pini Zahavi to stop that from happening, whilst Goretzka's renewal is stalling because the player and his camp are concerned with the lowball offers.

This is where United come into play. They've been declaring their interest in more midfielders who are willing to leave in order to apply more pressure on Pogba and Raiola. These are similar tactics to what AC Milan did to Donnarumma. If Pogba really wants to stay, we'll see what Raiola comes out with down the line, but it's quite clear that United won't be pushed to paying a huge salary for Pogba.

Tottenham offered 15 million Euros + 3 million Euros in bonuses. This has allowed them to overtake Atalanta in the race. Tottenham and Bologna are currently a few million Euros apart in their valuations.

Rennes manager Bruno Génésio on Camavinga's situation this summer:
We have already stressed several times that we cannot afford to remain in this situation concerning an international player like him.

It’s part of a career to have important decisions to make, he has a very important one [decision] to make for his future, and we at the club also have our interests to defend. I hope we find a solution that everyone is satisfied with.

It seems like Rennes don't want to lose Camavinga without getting some money for him. The next few weeks will be key.

Please be true.

a) Likely to pay us the most money to sign him
b) Same reasons as above, less likely to find Raiola a stumbling block (especially as they probably have there eye on more of his players over the next season or two)
c) They appear to be our main opposition to signing Camavinga, highly unlikely they go for both (not saying he is a better player now etc etc)

Obviously selling or keeping Pogba is a very devisive subject, anybody liek myself on the sell side though, PSG would be the ideal club to sell him to

Little wonder we are looking at the Bayern bloke as a replacement. Pogba is a great player but I wouldn’t shed a tear if he leaves

See very veyr little chance of us signing him, behind Kimmich probablythe least likely player we could sign from Bayern...though both get mentioned contract wise and stranger things have happened, no chance

That's an interesting signing. I wonder if this consigns Luka Jovic to the bench given how similar they are in their playing style. This could also explain the recent di Marzio report from Italy of Milan being interested in Luka Jovic on loan.

Yes, funny so many on here lauding him as player of the tournament, one of the best ever performances individually in a game (ludicrous), we should never sell him, look at him flourish with Kante beside him.........yet players in hiw own side were pointing fingers at him for his defensive work or lack of

Sporting director and manager both commenting. Obviously desperate for him to sign a new contract or sell him for good money. I would presu,e and hope the latter.

I think they are in the unfortunate position this summer though of so many big clubs not having the money, especially to offer big money for a teenager in the last year of his contract.....which of course is all good news to us, especially if PSG really do want Pogba. Crazy we could possibly be the only club in for him, if this was 2018-2019 pre covid and everything else, there would be a huge fight for his signature....the possibility of Camavinga and Sancho, average age under 20 in one window is the addition of absolutely huge ability to our side and potential....unlike the likes of Amad, Pellestri and Hannibal though....potential for growth from players who already have a lot of experience behind them for such a young age

You'd think Arsenal would learn the lessons from our transfers under Woodward...

Where is he now? Back in Madrid?
Real really fecked up that summer. 60m euros for Jovic? Perez definitely needs some quality scouts around him. Frankfurt were pinching themselves after that deal was done. What a horrible summer for Real that was. 320 million outlay on crap players like Militao, Rodrygo, Mendy, Hazard, Jovic. No wonder their in the deep.

Yeah, he's back at Real Madrid for now. I don't think Frankfurt are particularly interested in bringing him back, and Santos Borré might be a cheaper alternative.

On the other players, Mendy's been great for them, Militão's looking much better now, and Rodrygo's still young and developing. Hazard and Jovic, though, have been expensive flops for them.

He's so immature. Saw a video a couple of weeks ago making fun of Matic's way of dressing. Matic was dressed in black trousers, black shoes and a really good looking coat. Then Pogba turned the camera at himself: flashy sneakers with electric green laces, camouflage trousers and a hoodie. How could you make fun of someone formally dressed when you're carrying yourself like a ghetto gang member.

Militao and Mendy are not crap.
Alright, a little over the top comment from me. From what I've watched of them - wasn't impressed at all. Mind you I watched them mostly during Lopetegui's and Solari's time and not as much in recent times.
