Yes, Romano actually wrote this.

Points that weren't covered in previous Tweets:
  • Chelsea plan to buy a new striker this summer.
    • Abraham wants to leave.
  • United will buy a centre back after acquiring Sancho.
    • Varane #1; Pau Torres is also on the list
  • Real Madrid are still keen on buying Mbappé this summer or the next despite PSG making that extremely difficult.

Christos Tzolis is a 19-year-old left winger. He was linked to United as early as February by Sportime in Greece.

He chose 11 because the Wolves #1 retired because he had leukaemia.

I understand that and understand that Wolves retired the number 1 for the reason you’ve explained, which is an amazing gesture.

Still annoys me to see a goalkeeper wearing an outfield number. It should either be 1 or something above 11.

I remember the name but we're linked to almost every young talent in the world.

p.s. is it just me or we're linked to every winger in the world ? bloody hell...

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we're watching a bunch of young wingers. Outside of Elanga, we didn't have any young winger coming up for the next few years (Emeran and Forson will take a while longer to get ready for the first team). With Elanga as the only good left winger coming up for the next few years, I can see why United are looking for more left wingers (and wingers in general).

  • Roma's offer for Rui Patricio: 10 million Euros + a player (unnamed)
    • Wolves want 15 million Euros
  • Marseille want both Pau López and Cengiz Ünder on loans with options to purchase
    • Options will become obligations after a certain number of appearances per player
  • Ünder's replacement: Eintracht Frankfurt's Filip Kostic

Juventus offered a two-year loan with an obligation to purchase, but Sassuolo want the loan period to be reduced to one year.

They are like Bayern, they get to do anything they want in their own leagues and clubs will bow to these two
Clubs don't bow to them at all, but the players want to play for such clubs. Locatelli for instance has members in his close family who are big Juve fans.

A 2 year loan? Just buy the fecker, you cheap bastards.

I think Bayern see Nubel as Neuer's succesor, but Nubel can't just wait on the bench, so probably a 2 year loan will be good for his development, Bayern got him as a free agent from Schalke if i remember, they would want hold on to him i guess.

How do Juve keep getting away with bullshit offers like that?

It's probably normal nowadays that these deals happen between Italian clubs (Loan with Obligation to buy), for example, Inter signed Barella the same way (loan with obligation to buy), the same also for Sensi, so i would say at this stage, it's the norm already.

This "loan with an obligation to buy" is such horseshit. It's a permanent transfer with a delayed payment.
It's not even delayed payment because these kind of arrangements would include some sort of loan fees as well.
It's just creative accounting nothing else.

It's just a way for clubs to balance the books. Say Sassuolo want €40m for Locatelli, the press say Juve have him on loan for 2 seasons then have to sign him, they'll probably pay €10m loan fee per season and then €20m obligation payment to sign him, everyone wins.

I don’t see how this would or could have an impact on the transfer fees though

Rennes discuss with another player’s Manchester? Wut?
Might it mean they are interested in one of our players as part of the deal? Wouldn't mind if Hannibal went there on a loan as part of the deal.

Lots of clubs in Italy seem to be doing these loan + obligation to buy deals. Once you start doing business that way it's probably hard to stop.

Villa bullying Arsenal is my favourite thing in football at the moment.
