That's a great signing for Fiorentina, honestly. I was expecting him to go to a bigger club. Mind, I'd have said the same if Brighton signed him.
Here's hoping that he's utilised well and doesn't go to waste at the club. I look forward to watching him play alongside Vlahovic.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I get the impression that both of these deals were pretty much done before the Euros started and they just got fully confirmed during the tournament. Despite the personal terms being agreed between us and Sancho, I don't feel like we're as far along as those deals were.

Yeh they did you're right. But to me that deal came out of no where and finished fast even while Wijnaldum was away with the Dutch squad
Well this makes it sound like everything was fully agreed by the time the tournament started anyway.
Not sure whether it was completed while he was with the squad or not but even that is probably more likely than for the player to sort out the details of a transfer during the actual competition.

So at 9 am the YouTube channels were streaming with info they received either earlier in the morning or last night. And this fella pop-ups with wrong info half way through the day, while the new bid info has already been leaked.

The argument was about whether or not a player being at the Euros would impact a deal being completed for him. I can't think of a reason a fee would impact that scenario.
