Dortmund?? Surely means Sancho is goneski.
Sky are often inaccurate, they posted this one week before Willian left.

You get 20% of the profit (capped at £15m) as far as I know, and I hope for his sake that he gets a move to Dortmund or PSG. Best for all parties that he moves on.

Would be very underwhelmed with that signing, he’s nearly 30 too.
He isn't an alternative to me, that would be another young RW. Not as you say someone who is nearly 30 not wanted by his club. That should tell you something. He is a cheap option, which says we do not have the money or this team is in an even bigger mess that we thought and Ole wants to buy a lot of players.

I remember us being linked with Douglas Costa as far back as 2009 and it’s a rumour that has crept up many times since.

So? Same people said the same thing about Aubamayang before Arsenal signed him, said he would lose his pace, he's too old etc. Yet he's banging them goals in...

If people don't think his qualities are what we need or he's average and we should wait or look elsewhere FINE but stop using age as f##king excuse! /Rant over

There is obviously a list of options for the winger vacancy, of course Costa and Coman are on this list and are being monitored. A short term deal for either would be good if Sancho is a no go. The squad needs strengthening and I would not be surprised if the cheaper options are preferred, club are in the Champions League now so the owners will be happy.

Wow!

If we wanted to sign an ageing alternative to Sancho, we should have got Willian really.

I can't see this being anything other than contract fishing. I don't think we'd even put our name in the hat as a rocket for Dortmund, they'd see right through it.

United scout Tommy Moller Nielsen was present in an FK Bodo/Glimt match presumably to watch Jens Petter Hauge, a 20-year-old attacking player.

Player quotes:
It wasn’t my best game today, unfortunately. It’s a bit boring that he saw this match, but let’s hope he liked what he saw.

[On supporting Chelsea and whether he'll be okay with United]…all the teams in England are interesting. You have to put away your favourite team when it comes to your own career.

If that’s right [United scout watching him], then it’s very positive. But it’s not something I can go around thinking about, because then my performance will drop.

I have to focus on delivering. I will of course be very flattered if this is true, but I am now concentrating on performing with Glimt.

It’s quite clear. When a club like Manchester United comes on the field, it will always be interesting.

Scout quotes:
As Manchester United’s senior scout, I have a responsibility to keep up to date with what is happening in Scandinavia. Jens Petter Hauge plays, yes, but so do the rest of the players on the pitch. I check out all the players.

Silly season in full flow

Why silly season? He's very good and would be a good signing. But I reckon Brighton sell Dunk and sell White in a few years for a bigger fee.

According to La Voix du Nord, apparently, only Napoli and Arsenal remain in the chase for Gabriel. Both United and Everton are out of the race.

Apparently, Ajax are going to approach Luis Suarez for a second stint at the club.

I just don't believe Ole is targeting a big money, big contract 29 year old, not his MO.

Reports like these are why I'm certain that di Marzio is a storyteller. In CM Dortmund have: Witsel, Can, Delaney, Dahoud, Bellingham, Brandt (situationally) and another young prospect in Raschl. There have been zero hints at any of them leaving and we all know money is tight at the moment.
These reports aren't necessarily born out of thin air. Di Marzio pays various people connected to Italian clubs to give him info, so either the source is making this up or passing on legitimate info.
