Both United and Chelsea are interested, apparently, but sources close to the player are only stating that there are Premier League clubs that are strongly interested without mentioning any particular clubs.

Yes like we should have done with JonesSo basically we should release Eric Bailly?
So he'll be the CB signing. This would be a huge coup for us.
He'll be like a new signing!
So basically we should release Eric Bailly?
Regardless of Bailly's contract situation, we are targeting a new CB. We are not required to let go of or sell CBs in order to bring new ones in.No but knowing United we will be sold that this is like a new signing because Bailly is able to keep fit for 6 games now rather than 1.5 rather than actually signing a new CB which we desperately desperately need

He should have been sold. No way we should hand him a 3 or even 4 year deal. He is injured far too often. Sign a CB and make Lindelof backupAh, internet hysterics then. Release Eric Bailly you know, ffs.
As announced by L'Équipe yesterday, PSG have opened initial discussions to extend Julian Draxler [his contract] (contract ends in June). Nothing indicates that it will succeed and especially that the player is still projecting himself [as a more valuable player] in Paris. He almost intended to leave.

He should have been sold over the past 2/3 years when we knew he was a crockSold to who? His contract is expiring, and he should get a new one, as if he doesn’t, he’ll be released - which would be daft. That is the situation of Eric Bally, nothing to do with Lindelof’s or any prospective incoming defender.
So he'll be the CB signing.
"They feel very good here and are part of a big project. Of course I speak to them, we are stronger with them."
Marco Verratti talks about the future of Mbappé and Neymar and hopes to see them extend to PSG to win the Champions League.

Duncan Castles mentioned it, in his latest podcast.Did this come up after we started getting linked to Ben White? This seems quite surreal.
We need someone who is fast/commanding and also speaks the language now..So many problems with this its unreal. He should want to play next to the best.
That's fine. I'm just wondering if he mentioned it because we were getting linked to Ben White by other outlets.Duncan Castles mentioned it, in his latest podcast.

If anything, this could be conjecture based off of his failing partnership with Lindelöf. However, Bailly and Maguire have worked quite well with each other, and I think it further proves that Lindelöf and Maguire can't play together. It has to be one or the other. That's the most incredible excuse I've ever heard. feck him.

Maguire plays quite differently when he's paired with Bailly vs. Lindelöf. With Lindelöf, he tends to drop off way more, whilst with Bailly, he tends to hold his defensive line more and doesn't try to do more than he should.I find this weird because Bailly and Maguire together have had some shockers.
Maguire / Lindelof comfortablly have had our best defensive performances with. However since they have played together more will obviously have more bad games together.
In any case that criteria from Maguire is worrying
