21 year old Left footed CB and the journo behind the story, if I'm not mistaken works for RMC.

Facundos are like London buses. You wait ages for one Facundo, then two come along at once with an upper deck capacity of 40 seats.

I would imagine Badiashile is still at the top of that left-footed CB list, as we have been tracking him for years now and he’s 6’4” (might end up 6’5”) as opposed to Medina who is 5’11”, which isn’t great for a CB.

Yeah along with probably Pau Torres & Milenkovic I reckon

Journos in Turin are saying that Ramsey (wanting back home) + Bentancur (not in Pirlo’s plans as an old school DM) would be the plain swap package on offer for Pogba in early January at £55-60m valuation.

That's basically them saying both players are on the market..
We aren't signing either.

Lads, if we were reluctant to pay up in the summer, we're going to be even less willing to in Jan when zero progress has been made on getting fans back in to our games.

We may get one or two for the future in, but that will be it. Everything else will just be journos/weird fanboy ITK Twitter page nonsense.

Solskjaer is open to letting Brandon Williams leave on loan with Southampton and Leverkusen interested.
Should have happened the moment we signed Telles. Especially to a club like Southampton who are playing very positive football and are received very positively by neutrals and pundits alike. A full season of game time there and we could easily swindle anywhere from £15-30m for him the following summer. Possibly with a buy-back or a sell-on clause of some kind.

Instead we’re at the end of December and Williams has 6 minutes of PL football.

What's your opinion on Bentacur?

I've also read through the players performance thread on a Juve forum and many want him sold. And his only good game this season was against Parma according to the Juventini. I watched the last game against Fiorentina and he was poor. He's still young though so has time to turn things around.

But would Williams get into the Soton line-up ?
Personally, I dont think he would.

But what's surprising is that he hasn't even been considered as back up to AWB on the right considering he's naturally right footed.

But I agree, a loan move is good for him.

Perhaps, but Southampton were the ones who were linked at the back end of the summer. Hassenhuttl clearly had some sort of plan for him.

I would rather give Williams a run at RB. He’s naturally right footed, so it might suit him better to make the switch and challenge AWB for minutes.

I not sure Williams would start much at Southampton? £12m summer signing Walker-Peters who has played every minute this season and started the last 23 matches including his loan spell. Bertrand who's missed one match this season and has played over 200 times in the Premier League for the club.

Maybe it was a link with Southampton as the agency he is signed with have Walker-Peters and Alex McCarthy on their books, thus good links with Southampton and may just have been offered to them.

Regardless, much like Chong last season. Williams isn't going to improve if he isn't playing and if he isn't good enough for the top level a good loan would buff up any potential sale in future.

He’s pretty good already and his ceiling is very high as a DM, just do not ask him acting the playmaker or the box to box role. Allegri was really in awe of him as a back four protector.

He wouldnt get in the first team but i think the plan was for him to be first back up at right and left back so he would get a good amount of games. Especially given their high energy style

Cheers for the feedback.

So it seems Pirlo wants a player who could both protect the back 4 and make plays from deeper which is probably why he wants to move Bentacur on.

You can keep Ramsey. Make it Demiral instead of Ramsey and we have a deal.

You are welcome. And yeah, Pirlo fundamentally wants no uber-defensive players in the middle and Bentancur only brings the occasional smart pass and pretty no goals at all, at this stage of his admittedly young career. On the upside, he is physically strong and a very smart positional DM. Dybala and Bernardeschi in case coukd also go in case they get good offers, again for not fitting the new coach’s jigsaw. We will see very soon.

Ramsey looks like one of Juve’s relatively rare transfer missteps. I don’t think he was ever good enough to be an important player for them. And his age and wages mean there was never likely to be a huge clamour for him in the PL if they did want rid of him/to realise some profit by selling him. With that said, I could see Ed being daft enough to allow Juve to improve their team and solve a massive squad issue of their own in one fell swoop.

Not sure if Betancur is what we re looking for in the defensive midfielder position. Ok He is good at protecting the back but that s it.
Imo we re looking for someone who apart from defensive duties is also a playmaker - like a Matic with legs.
And Betancur ain't that.

Saw that Eriksen is off already. After that Amazon doc I am so glad to see him fail miserably, came across incredibly petulant and arrogant.

You wouldn't take Benzema?

I wouldn't. I'm not doubting his quality but he's 33, has had a few injury problems, and I just don't think he'd be motivated to play for Utd. I think in the long run we'd be doing RM a favour taking him, saddling us with his hefty wages.

I prefer going after younger players to develop or more experienced players who are looking to make that step up, like Bruno. It's where we've always done our best business.

I wasn't against Cavani because it's only 1 year (+1 potentially) and he's not had the high profile scandals like Benzema. He wanted to come here and prove himself in the PL, like Ibra did.

So no, I wouldn't take him as part of any deal for Pogba. I'd rather we just got full cash, and took more installments over a longer time if it helped facilitate the move.

It's very unlikely any of these clubs will swap a player we'd actually want.

Hey fair enough. I thought he was 30, not 33.

Like that idea, but Juve need shot of Ramsey to stand a chance of affording Pogba s wage demands. Demiral would be great in the premier league, he’s wasted at Juve currently, he’d be far better off at United, both financially and with regard to getting game time.
