I think the €25m is a penalty fee if United fail to sign Sarr at the end of his loan. Watford know that we're probably going for Sancho again next summer and only want Sarr for a year. They're not playing that game and more power to them.

Sancho - The price was £120Mil. They gave us a deadline. It couldnt have been an easier deal. We waited until the last day and offered £90+, we look like fools
We don't, we were never ready to pay £120M and rightly so, nobody is worth that in this context.

To this day - he remains our no1 target. If we weren't going to give in to Dortmunds demands, we should have started to work on other targets. It's took till the last day of the window for us to start bidding for other targets

Partey - One of the best DM's in the world. Has a release clause. We need a DM as Matic cant last a season and we are letting Arsenal have a free run.

Hauge - Outstanding young talent, who we scouted extensively. Didnt even make an enquiry - went to Milan for about 4Mil.

Our LW options currently stand at: Rashford. We play James RW and we rarely play Lingard full stop. Martial is now our No.9. We need quality across the front line and within the squad. Hauge would have given us that we such a low low cost. It was a free hit of a transfer

He's a clear downgrade on Sancho or Dembele. I think he could be a decent squad player for us at a reasonable price or a loan with an option to buy. 40M is crazy money.

I don't think we need squad players right now. At least not for the right wing. And of course not for 40 million.

Hes actually a decent backup player and doesn't mind being a backup player at elite clubs?
He puts in a shift, has the right attitude and is actually a good finisher

Worst case scenario, we keep one more body in midfield (who will be unhappy as feck) and sell him next summer to Italy since i doubt Atletico will talk to us ever again :drool:
