If I was Barcelona I would be glad to sell Messi for anything near that. His wages are reported €100m a year as well so in year one Barcelona are €200m up. Sir Alex’s greatest trait was knowing when to get rid of players and build a new team. I feel like if Messi hangs around any longer at Barcelona it will damage them in the long term.
I'd say that some of them have info but are told to hold off until there is enough confidence in us getting the deal done. Couldn’t agree more. I’m not against signing British but they tend to be highly overrated.

This would've been major front-page news in Italy if it were true; heck, the English journalists would've made a much bigger deal of it, too.
