Big January window coming up if we feck things up until then. Way harder to get anyone in then though.
Damn, I was really hoping we'd get Sneijder over the line. Seriously though, quite pleased with the transfer window - Maguire and AWB are brilliant signings, Pogba is staying (hopefully), and Lukaku is gone, hopefully Rojo too. It would have been ideal to get another one or two players in but as Ole said this will take a while to get to where we want to be. I think the most important things that we need for this season are unity and consistency - there's plenty of quality in the squad. Can't wait for Sunday!

Could we seriously not compelete one or two decent loan signings at the very least, it cant be that hard to find better than lingard and matic, I would at this point be open minded about someone like Bakayoko or drinkwater joining us on loan.

Hopefully but I reckon we need to get realistic and lower our demands. He IS worth that in this climate but we are probably not going to get 25m, especially now that we're only talking non-PL teams. If I recall correctly, the only teams in for him before were Turkish and they are not going to offer over £10m and that's probably generous to them.
