Even this photo he looks like he's about to two foot someone, disaster of a CB.
Would be more comfortable sending him on a 2 year loan deal with obligation to buy. That way, he doesnt two foot anyone from our side for at least 2 years.

I’ve wasted so much of my time of transfers that where never going to happen. I’m not getting involved in all this again

It's just not the same without an interview with Harry Rednapp leaning out a car window.

Found this in reddit. Apparently Norwood follows the op. Take it with a pinch of salt.

Edit: this would break EPL rules regarding how many loaned players you can have in your squad from another EPL team. The source is bollocks.

Thats the transfer markt wrapped up by the look(s) of things. Rashford and Martial for the strikers position. Sanchez and James for the left wing. Greenwood and Lindgard for the right wing position. You also have Gomez as an extra option. They can also inter change position as well, but you only wonder if the club wont regret signing more ‘experienced’ players.

Some of you guys are hilarious with the inconsistencies.

Overpaying for Maguire "who cares it's not our money" and then celebrations at rumours of getting a good fee for Rojo.

I sense a "no value in the market" quote coming up. Journos just want to keep United fans interested in their Twitter/Stories.

"only wanted the right characters, people who craved to be here" is the 2019 version, all nicely set up by the "Solskaer's groundbreaking background checks" narrative.

They are only allowed to loan 1 player from us and the already have Henderson so it obviously bollocks.

Good point, it definitely feels like the guys on the wind up.

Surely Gomes is looking at our side and thinking this gives him a great opportunity to get game time?

I am only new around here, but i want to use today, last day of the transfer deadline, to try and sink in a piece of wisdom that hopefully, alot of us here will remember during the coming season. Journalist's lie!

Football Journalist's will write anything and make almost anything up via a 'source', with no retrictions put up on them about what they can make up from editors, solely so they can get clicks, views, trending, ect. Cause to them these days, that is more important than the turth. I remember a time when managers Sir Alex specifically would call out journalists for the bull they were writing, but truth seems to have been lost somewhere within the social media intervention in life these days.

My point being, we have had a full window to take in and now reflect on how much they truly do just for attention to themselves, so when the inevitable comes, and United are being written about failing all over the place, with dressing room conflicts ect, just remember that United are the biggest talking point in english football, and too take whatever articles appear with a pinch of salt, and get behind the players, the staff and the club.

I can get behind this actually. Garner hasn't been involved during pre-season so is unlikely to play and Gomes could benefit a lot from a season of first team football. He'd have a proper chance to prove he's our 10 for the future. He's probably got Martial and James ahead of him at LW and Lingard, Mata and Sanchez at 10 this season. Plus, if he leaves on loan now surely he's signed a new deal :D

Ole's list of players he wanted spanned one country. A more experienced manager with contacts all across Europe would've had us signing Bruno Fernandes or someone of that sort but Ole just knows English and Norwegian football.

Happy with his appointment but this window has been a bit disappointing! Still excited for this season with Greenwood in the team!

The worst thing that could have happened last season was English sides doing well in Europe. It cemented the idea that having the transfer window early was a good, sensible idea.

The whole nonsense about it helping sides settle once the season begins is undermined entirely by the fact the January window exists.

This stupidity doesn't get enough criticism.

Zero chance of Gomes or Chong going on loan, they are likely to get minutes very early on in the season.

I think we will sell Rojo and Darmian until September which will bring our net spend to around £40m. If anyone still needed a proof that we are absolutely skint, here is one.
The financials are available for you to view you know.

Gomes wants not to “get minutes”, he wants to play regular first team football. And why the hell shouldn’t he? It appears Greenwood would be doing exactly that this year, Gomes is lower in the pecking order

So what you're saying is United are paying a bunch of people to travel the world, watch football games, have sex with exotic hookers, and then scratch their balls?

Nah mate, only homegrown players are good. Foreigners play tippy tappy shite in their tinpot leagues they aren't built for the prem mate. Did you not know that Sean Longstaff is the ONLY midfielder who could have improved us and once we realised Newcastle wouldn't sell there was no point looking elsewhere for midfielders.

At least someone’s getting something positive out of the club

There are obviously no experienced managers at all out there as Bruno is sitting tight in Lisbon yet.

But you think maybe it's because those teams don't need a player like him as much as we do because their midfield is not as horrid as ours?

There are so few transfer tweets that I almost want Fridge Chutney to make a return.
