Rashford is not more clinical than Lukaku, he is maybe even more wasteful. Jury still out for Greenwood, I wouldn't expect him to score more than 5 PL goals this season.

No but his pace and work rate are much more suited to the high press than Lukaku who just stands around. He’s also able to interchange with the other forwards allowing us to play fluidly.

Even if one of the best target men around was available for us we shouldn’t necessarily want them if they don’t fit our system. That’s been our problem with changing from LVG to Mourinho to Ole. Three completely different styles without the personnel change to reflect that. At least under Ole we have got rid of Fellaini and Lukaku who were the most ill suited. Matic with his legs gone would be on the list soon I would think and Martial if he doesn’t show a better work rate.

And yet somehow our net spend under woodward is the highest in Europe. I’d hate for you to look up the net spend of our rivals in that time. But please keep moaning, don’t let facts get in the way.

It is a fact though that United have spent only 70m net after finishing 6th while City spent 60m on Rodri, some 10m on Angelino and another 25+Danilo on Cancelo. How can you defend this low net spend?

Anyone believe these Rojo rumours, I really hope Ed doesn't price him out of a move, his wages will be a massive obstacle already.

We're going to get beaten over the head with how we missed out on Dybala all season. It'll get mentioned every time he has a good touch in a match for spurs. It'll also get mentioned every time Sanchez gives the ball away cheaply; every time Dybala scores, 50 times a day when he scores against United and another 100 times when Dybala hits 20 goals this season.

Net spend highest in Europe? Maybe if you take out City and PSG. Almost every top club has outspent United again this year.

I'm expecting to see the word, "comfortable" being splashed around in briefings from about lunchtime onwards. For the sake of my sanity, I might just avoid the internet until this evening comes around and get a summary of our failures, rather than living them out in real-time.

Well frankly we'll deserve it.

total agreement for #Dybala around 75 million in total. Parties to work to solve the problem related to image rights. Confidence grows

The same Spurs that finished way above us and are in the CL.... again this season?

It’s hardly rocket science is it. Of course he’ll choose then over us! Better football, more chance of winning trophies.

This part is interesting. There was obviously willingness from Spurs to do a deal and find a solution. Woodward on the other hand didn't and preferred only money for Lukaku.

We didn't want to go big on a player that doesn't really want to play for us. If Spurs do then that's their lookout.

They’re paying 75 million for Dybala but couldn’t afford Bruno?
If they do sign Dybala, I’d like to know the economics of how things worked out.

Why wasn't this an option for us? Interesting

Perhaps we were never really interested in Dybala and simply wanted cash for Big Rom in order to balance our books? Seems to have worked with Inter paying up and all parties are happy.

Based on absolutely nothing, neither is there any assurance that Spurs will find a resolution. I swear some of you will find anything to bash Woodward with.
