Spurs’ big signing for the summer imo.

Unless he makes another step up in terms of consistency and team before me, he'll be competing with Alli (I think he can surpass him), Kane, Son and Moura for a starting place, let alone rotation. Don't think he would want to come off the bench too often unless he's completely cool with that.

That would be hilariously hilarious

Yeah, I’m sure Liverpool getting a £200 million transfer kitty boost would be utterly hilarious.

Have you not learnt your lesson from the Coutinho sale? Somehow selling their star players only seems to boost these feckers.

The fume from the scousers would be absolutely hilarious. Plus it’s not all perfect....if Coutinho had been a massive hit at Barca (like Suarez) it wouldn’t have looked such great business.
Just because we’re totally incapable of spending money wisely doesn’t make every other club’s business perfect, it just looks great by comparison

True.

The frustrating thing is that someone always seems to step up for them when they lose a star. It’s been a recurring theme since Torres. We all laughed when he went to Chelsea. Then Sturridge stepped up for that freakish season, almost winning them the league, and they bought Suarez. He had a great season - eventually being sold and again we thought they’re going to collapse without him - and suddenly Coutinho stepped it up looking like an absolute world beater, winning games for them single-handedly. And now Firmino/ Salah/ Mane/ VVD/ Alisson (predominantly bought with the Coutinho cash) have transformed them into an even better team without Coutinho, when we thought they’d go to shit without him.

They’re like a video game boss where if you chop off its head, another two grow in its place.

Incredibly frustrating to see as an outsider.

However, Manchester United have fallen in love with Cherki and have made initial concrete steps to sign the player with a meeting occurring between the Red Devils and the young teenager’s parents recently. English sources claim to Foot Mercato that people close to him have even visited Manchester United’s facilities, shown around by the club’s coaches.

Now, more than ever, Aulas wants Cherki to sign the dotted line

We paid nothing, he gave us nothing, he left for nothing - The Sanchez story.

We didn't pay nothing, he cost us Mhikitaryn. Don't get me wrong he's been awful and I will be glad to see the back of him but it's got to sting a bit to literally give him away.

Have you not learnt the lesson from the sale of Luis Suarez?

I am a big fan of Griezman‘s game, but he is on insane wages. And with insane I mean INSANE. Bayern won‘t be paying him close to what he is earning right now.
I see Bayern going for Sané and Gündogan with James leaving, but not much more.

I would be very happy with Sane and Gundogan given how Bayern have strengthened their CB position. One full back and they should be done for one window, they can concentrate on the ST and RW position in the next window, can't replace everyone in one season.

Especially since Klopp would almost certainly turn around and add Sancho or Sane to replace him.

Please no.

That is a worry. But they’re still up against it with FFP. I imagine they’d be all over Pogba as well if not.
I just have a feeling he'll end up there. He's the exact type of big name player they are usually after. What other potential clubs? Real, Bayern? Maybe even City?
