Feels like the club have got their act together. Don’t sign players who don’t want to be here other than for the money.
Or they were trying to sign him and he turned them down pretty bluntly. Funny that quite a few see this as an assertive move from United haha

For the best. Last thing we need is another Di Maria.

Feck the cnut. Although that means we're stuck with the fastest cow in the Premier League.

Naw. The Manchester United Dybala is rumored to have doubts about is far inferior than the one Di Maria had issues with. That's the huge difference - United back then hadn't been run through the mud with season after disastrous season. There was still hope and glitz

I don't know mate, feels like the club don't have their act together at all - two signings all summer then getting drawn into this weeklong gamble on Dybala instead of just securing the signings we needed from the get go.

Not to mention, if Juve wants him out and he has reservations about joining a team that might well finish below Wolves next season, it's incumbents on US to convince him

Does it though?

We knew early on he was desperate to stay at Juve. We’ve been fannying about for near enough a week with nothing to show for it. I have no doubt that we were prepared to offer a ridiculous salary but he’s snubbed us and now we’re trying to save face.

Pathetic
Have a day off. Its been reported all week that his image rights and agent fees are a problem
Why is everything a negative with us? I wished we did this with Di Maria.
Looks like we have learned a lesson after all

Our attack looks poor. People think Mandzukic would fix that? Not convinced Bruno will be a hit in the premier league either.

Hope Dybala enjoys staying at a club whos manager has no use for him and tried to push him out so bluntly.

Untied or not? The negotiation for the Lukaku-Dybala exchange has entered the hottest phase, soon updates. Meanwhile, regardless of the outcome - with Juve in pressing - Mario Mandzukic said yes to transfer to Manchester United . A situation that strengthens relations between the Bianconeri and the Red Devils, waiting for the choice of Dybala who is thinking about it. Mandzukic sees therefore the Premier, a negotiation that has been going on for days, now we are in the right. The evaluation of the card is between 15 and 20 million, while for the Croatian striker he engages 5 to 6 million. Mandzukic he is ready to accept the Red Devils' proposal and is preparing to greet the Old Lady after three successful seasons.

Say what you want about the moaners (me included). But going into the EPL with that disrupted midfield (led by someone who originally does not want to be here) is suicide.

To be quite honest, I don’t think we’ve learned anything. Had the agent requested a more reasonable fee then you can bet we would have paid it then possibly had Di Maria v2.0 on our hands.

Time and time again we get drawn into protracted sagas for signing players, Bruno Fernandes has been all summer long yet we wait for the 11th hour to pull our finger out. It’s always last minute with us.

How come other clubs get their main business sorted fairly early? I have absolutely no faith in Ed and we still don’t have a DoF...it’s just a bit of a shitshow all round.

I don’t mind Dybala not coming here, he clearly didn’t want to come and that’s fine, but yet again we find ourselves scurrying around trying to tie up deals that, with more assertiveness (and a competent DoF) could well have been done weeks ago.

Now we're left with Lukaku who doesn't want to be here and who hasn't kicked a ball this preseason

This is the most annoying thing, such wasted time persuing a player who you knew wouldn't want to come. Ridiculous.

If we've backed out for those actual reasons, then I'm completely okay with it.

We don't need a repeat of Di Maria or Sanchez, and the whole back story to this Dybala debacle has elements of both.
