He will be a squad option I really don't see the issue.

He may be 33 but he’s a great option from the bench. If you’re a decent team, to get quality bench options you need to have an older Striker (or a Young, promising one). Just look at Sheringham - in his peak he would have never sat on the bench for us but once he was in his 30’s, it was a different story and he was still quality. Age doesn’t mean much to certain players and Mandzukic, a bit like Zlatan, will be fine until he’s 35 -36.
