I really can't understand why people don't understand this. Moving countries, uprooting your family, learning another language, leaving friends, and your home. It's huge for anyone.

Bale managed very well and didn't bother learning the lingo.

These aren't normal people, they don't need to fit in as they end up very wealthy and can live in a bubble in any country. Dybala has already moved continents, moving to another European country wouldn't be a major issue for him. Plus he'd have a few fellow country men for company.

I’m sure the fact that he’ll be a multi millionaire will be a factor.

You make it sound like he’s a refugee. These guys don’t live in the real world

Ah yes, it's not remotely stressful moving to different countries at all. Decisions like that should be made instantly. Terrible opinion on your part.

There could be real surprises next week or on deadline day. I hope that we have a midfielder or 2 on our agenda. Last night in Cardiff showed how we would fair without Pogba in the side. Neither Matic or McTominay are good enough for our DM birth, and we need someone for this area before the season starts or it will prove our downfall.

He's already a millionaire, it is still a huge thing to up your settled family and move them across Europe. Money isn't everything, they will be settled with friends, and his wife may have a job too, that she enjoys.

He's rich either way, and might just happen to be pretty happy where he is living. It isn't just about money is it? His family and friends are settled there, it is still a big decision to make.

I think I'd die a little inside if Dybala turned us down for Spurs. Just imagine it happened  I'd know we've hit rock bottom then.

They are after Bruno/Lo Celso, who are different to Dybala and more similar to Eriksen. Also cheaper.

I think he could reject us for Spurs, mainly because of Poch and CL football, they are also more stable, but they probably wont be in for him

Passing on Fernandes would be very disappointing? Letting spurs sign him? Yikes

Feck, not looking good. Seems like Di Marzio was wrong about this one.
I'm not convinced Spurs are all in for him at this stage. Still think they want Lo Celso and are using Fernandes/Sporting to lower Betis' asking price.

How does that mean that Di Marzio was wrong? At the time of whatever he reported, Tottenham was clearly not in for Bruno? But since they have become interested, things change, doesnt necessarily mean he was wrong?

There was already media talk Spurs were interested in him when he said we were close to signing him.

You’d think Di Marzio was this places father the way he’s defended  he gets things wrong, it’s part of the game.

Juve are keen for a buy back in any deal to sell him aren't they? It's almost like an unofficial loan - play well for a couple of years and come home.
They wanted one but it isn't actually implemented I think. Lukaku + 30m for Dybala and Kean would've made it terrific business. Solves us two positions and we will have someone who can play up top.

Maybe Ole does not want another young player coming in to impact on Greenwood. Someone like Mandzukic as a short term option wouldn't do that.

We should've been in for him, especially at that price.
He would have cost us 10-15 million more. Also there's not much use in us buying another young striker, he'd just take minutes from Greenwood.

I do like him though, and I reckon Everton have done some good business there.

I firmly believe that Bruno is/was an option only if Pogba leaves.

Longstaff is still on the table but it’s down to how much Newcastle are willing to manoeuvre on their valuation.

Dybala rests on how serious he is open to a move to Manchester. Hopefully he can see how well other Argentinians have settled in England.

Aguero, tevez, heinze, mascherano....

Kean is more ready to be a starter IMO. Also we are fairly short on CF position with only Greenwood if Lukaku leaves. Some competition won't hurt and both are young and can get many minutes.

Kean fits the profile as well - he's a hard worker.

Reckon he'll do good there and we might be interested come 2-3 years time.

Everton have killed it to be fair. Going to be a strong season for them I feel.
Kurt Zouma back at Chelsea a big blow for them. But they have been very efficient in the transfer market lately. Have some great academy kids emerging. Have a manager who could manage a top 4 club. They're going places.

Everton always look like they’ve recruited well and are in for a great season. Then, inevitably, it turns to shite

It will be a big reason plenty of players don't move abroad. Money or not, a country with a different culture and language to what you're used to is a big deal.

Obviously non European players will make the move to a European country but once you're fairly settled there, it's no small thing to uproot again and head to a different country. Almost never see partners or family considered either.

It's getting tighter up at the top end, throw Wolves and Leicester in and the top 6 could well become an interchangeable top 8 over the next few years. Someone like Wolves just need to break into a European spot once to really take their recruitment up a level. Like City did. Put Wolves in a European spot, with the money and connections they have and they could be a big player.

Lewis Gibson is the big one for Everton. He's the lad they poached from Newcastle 2 seasons ago, he's been superb for them in their youth ranks and has played a lot pre season.

City had really big money though. So did Chelsea at the time.

Don't think Wolves have that much.
