Mandzukic isn’t a striker who relies on pace or agility to play. Being 33 shouldn’t really affect his game at all. As someone said earlier Zlatan and Sheringham were not quick and were easily able to do the business at 35.

Yes, nowadays most clubs do use FM/CM. In the Quickly Kevin podcast with Josh widdicombe, they had one of the founders? Miles Jacobsen on and he said they had a lot more details than that is in the game itself and most club buy those from them. Interesting thing was, FM has the biggest scouting network of any club or country.

Football manager has one of thr best scouting networks in the world and sell theit data to loads of football clubs so the people having a go at it are clueless.

Using FM as a guide isn't the worst option in the world.
Some of the data they use is very good and credible.
It's more that if you play the game as an actual game, it's so easy to sell anybody around 27 and replace with a youngster.

No, it would be best if he resigned and let a competent person run the biggest club in the world. A good transfer window (which hasn't happened) doesn't absolve the endless catastrophic mistakes on his watch and I'd like him as far from the club as possible
