I don't mean to be rude, but why do people bother posting transfer tweets on lower league teams? The best thing about transfers is the excitement. Not sure how thrilling it is to know Newport are signing some random player on a loan...

Are you not aware you can't get lower league transfer news anywhere else on the internet?

It's a godsend to like 3-4 lads on here.

Basically your post makes no sense then you mean? Listing midfielders that went elsewhere or who we haven’t moved for, and then summarising that with ‘how does Ed still have a job?’. Again, he doesn’t choose the targets does he?

You my friend fail to connect the dots. I can't help you.

33 year old Mandzukic is still miles better than Rashford will ever be. Proven winner and a shithouse. It’s massive we get him in this Lukaku swap deal aswell as Dybala

because 3 months wasn't enough to get the deals done whereas for Real, it's been enough to tie up 4 players. Ole is running out of excuses and seems like the perfect setup for disappointment. Yayy to mediocrity..

How is that Ole’s fault for the lack of transfer activity? He isn’t part of the negotiations when it comes to transfers.

Woodward is the one that should get the brunt of the criticism if we don’t sign anyone before the deadline.

What a shocker of a post. This is on a par with Trump's 'shit hole' countries comment. How can you claim to support a club yet be so derogatory about its location?

Yes Manchester has its issues but it's not that bad ffs, and it really doesn't fecking rain 24/7 either. There is also lots to do other than go to the Trafford centre. Stop insulting the area of the club you claim to love so much!

I'm from the North West, I've got a right to claim it's a shithole if I want to because I've lived it my entire life.

People not from here can't.

Where the club is from has naff all to do with my support of them. The players, the managers, the fans, the history of the club does.

If we were Adelaide United and we had the same characteristics that we do then I'd support us.

Manchester is fine if you're not from there but if you've lived there or lived near there your entire life then you're jaded to what it offers. Same with the rest of the North West of England. Trust me, I'm tackling that idea at the minute to make me less miserable about where I'm from but it's tough when it's so grim. Or at the very least I am. If there are people out there who love the place then by all means be much less jaded and depressed about it than I am.

Hes not though is he. He has a better attitude than rashford of late but people forget how young rashford is. If he knuckles down he will be a very good player. No need for mandzukic at this point.

Some people live in very poor conditions, living in or near Manchester shouldn't depress you. I've been to places that I consider very nice cities, such as Paris and Rome, but they have their own run down areas. Manchester is thriving, there's jobs and opportunities everywhere, redevelopment throughout the city, tonnes of shops, bars and restaurants, all sorts to do. It's one of the nicer big cities in the UK. I'm probably alone in this but i prefer it to London.

Where are you from? Plenty of the North West is shit and depressing. Manchester couldn't be any more different from the shitholes that surround it though.

He would be our Sheringham. Our rivals have this type of striker. When Poch was stucked by opponent's defence, he throws Llorente in. we only have only Lukaku for that role, but now hes gone.

No either Lukaku stays and Mason is one of 4 options or lukaku leaves and he's one of 4. Wouldn't affect plans for him at all

Yeah I don't get that logic either. Greenwood needs to play and become accustomed, having him as a starter/second option is scary to me since he's so young. Sure he has great potential but if he's good enough he'll play. It's clear that's the sort of attitude Ole is trying to set up. The last thing anyone should be worried about is Greenwood. If this affects anyone poorly it's probably Angel Gomes. I really want him to get some chances but he's already behind Lingard/Mata. This adds another.

Dybala and Maguire are decent and will improve us. Just hope we can bring in a midfielder too, don't think we can persist with our current options as I feel there's a lack of depth and quality.

No anyone who has been there can say it's a shit hole if they want .

Personally I rate it as average and I really doubt given a choice of Milan or Manchester to live based purely on the locations anyone would want to opt for Manchester .

I've known plenty of people who've visited/lived in Milan and think it's a dump. Italy is a beautiful country, but Milan (nor Turin) are anywhere near the nicest places to live over there.

At the end of the day it's a matter of taste, but to me, as someone who hasn't lived in any of those cities, it seems that the football teams are the best thing about all of them.

Lies. Calumny. Possibly even a setup.

Milan is the greatest city in the world. Only people who don't like it are those antisocial types who'd rather live in a guano-covered cave. Or Turin

Based on my small sample size, I'd be fine if I never visited Milan again. It has neither polish or antiquity. It's just meh.

I've only stayed in Turin for a night, but I preferred it to Milan.

I could see City going for Dybala if Sane leaves. Would be quite the player in their team I’d imagine.

The UK and Italy's population are relatively similar, yet there are 10 times more Italians living in the UK than Brits in Italy. Which whatever you think about Manchester (or the UK in general) is a bit surprising to be honest.

Think that with the swap agreed by the clubs, then he is pretty much ours at this point if he does decide to leave.

Plus, even if City did get in touch and he preferred to go there, they wouldn't offer half as much (literally) as the daft money we're throwing at him.

Tune the Piano.

I like mandzukic hes a proper warrior and works hard. However hes nothing like teddy he had 2 yards in his head he was such an underrated player. Ah the memories

You can claim it but I don't think the opinion is really based in objectivity or truth.

The North West has The Lake District, Peak District and the Forest of Bowland as areas of natural beauty and has two great Cities in Liverpool and Manchester. There are loads more great places in between all that too.

Now I see why hes called Woodward

Think he means Manzukic would be our Sheringham more in the sense that he would be our game changer off the bench rather than in style. Having James and Mandzukic coming on against tired legs would be a nightmare for the oppo.
