Waiting for the answer from Dybala to the ManUtd, the Juve has defined the contractual agreement with Lukaku : about 9 million net per season

Come on, you really don't enjoy this? Yeah it can be annoying but I love transfer season!
I used to love it. Now it's just getting annoying. Now it's like the Ents in LOTR. One tree says something and then it's said to every tree, only for it to be repeated back to the millions saying it's bullshit. And Repeat.

Surely this will go through now. We’re just waiting a yes from Dybala.

Everyone but Dybala agreed, that one's going through. We'll throw enough money at it to make sure it does.

Maguire also seems to be coming to a close. Not the ideal window, but we've plugged some holes in our first XI and should guarantee a top 4 spot to build on next year. Sancho I'm looking at you.

£315k a week and Dybala apparently wants £350k? Pay up.

Edit: assumed Italy's top tax bracket was 50% but it's 43%, so it's actually £295k as IrishRedDevil says.

While I realise that we don't know what's going on behind the scene, who we've put a bid for, which player has rejected us, is the player's wage demands too high etc, the state of our transfers is absolutely f shocking.
We need to strengthen, we also need to offload a lot of players - apparently Rojo, Darmian and maybe Jones, were given new contracts so we could get a fee for them. Yet they're all still here. Not to mention a player who clearly wants to leave, Pogba, someone with immense talent but who doesn't seem to want to be here.
Sanchez has proved to be average for us - are we giving him another season to prove himself? At the expense of Gomes? Maybe am simplifying this, but wouldn't it have been better to ship him off even if it meant subsidising his wages. At least then the risk of other players asking the same wages are much much lower - see DDG!
We all knew about the shorter transfer window, there were reports that Ole wanted all the signings before we went on tour - that was 2-3 weeks ago.
Clearly defensive re-enforcements were needed. How many CB combinations have we had, yet none have really convinced (although Lindelof is improved). I remember the debate when Maguire moved to Hull, yet he has proved doubters wrong. What did he cost Leicester again?? And if he's our primary target at CB then why the f not get him when Jose wanted him!
Don't get me started on our midfield and RW, it's the same f state as CB. Needing re-enforcement for a few years yet we're no closer to fixing it.
How do we expect to bed in our uber talented youth if the seniors are below par!
And lastly, who in their right mind believes that signings so late in the window without a full preseason with the team is a good idea.
Maybe am over-simplifying this whole thing. Maybe I've been playing too much FM, but f me, United's transfer strategy over the past few years has been depressing.

Also, something that annoys me a lot: people who talk about our revenue without taking into consideration that team success brings in supporters (and sales) and commercial partners. The revenue stream will not last if we don't win trophies.

I don't mean to be rude, but why do people bother posting transfer tweets on lower league teams? The best thing about transfers is the excitement. Not sure how thrilling it is to know Newport are signing some random player on a loan...
